Hi

Am Trailling FOF 7 using the default madeup players and so I go into the Allocation Draft first thing.

Problem I'm having is when I find a player I like and draft him, I have no clue as to his salary demands therefore don't have any idea of salary cap.

Is there any way I can see his wage demand so I know where I am in terms of the team's salary cap budget ?

Thanks

Sorry didn't explain it very well

What I meant was I "Begin game using random new player file" then am directed to Allocation Draft, but am basically financially blind because have no clue as to what a player will demand for his salary until Ive clicked on draft to add him to my roster, by which time it's too late.

So basically I can't have any salary cap strategy - surely this must be an oversight in the game because how do you know who to draft if you can't budget correctly ?

Not an oversight. Salaries are slotted for the initial draft based on draft round. You will have plenty of cap room. As an FYI, it takes the AI teams a few seasons to adjust to and clean out the initial assigned salaries, so you'll see more quality players available via Free Agency during the first 3 or 4 offseasons that at any other time in your career.
