Coin Combines Your Credit, Debit and Gift Cards Into One Gadget - ABC News (http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/coin-combines-credit-debit-gift-cards-gadget/story?id=20899931)
I see this nifty new thing called coin where you can combine a bunch of your cards and gift cards into one item. I only carry around 1 card, though, and my problem is that my wallet is busting out with various store gift cards.
For example, I have Kmart, Giant Eagle, Rite Aid, GameStop, Sheetz and like 6-8 others. What I want is one card like this coin thing that I can load all my store membership things onto and be able to put them in a dresser drawer. Does such a thing exist?

i still dont get the point of coin, though. useless stopgap or half measure at best that expires in 2 years. pointless.

I wouldn't pay $50 for Coin, it just seems ripe to get hacked.

Yes... your phone number. I never carry reward cards and always get rewards.

I wouldn't pay $50 for Coin because it doesn't exist yet.

Have you ever backed a Kickstarter?

Therein lies the rub, doesn't it? Or at least what rubs me the wrong way. I like kickstarter and crowdsourcing and getting behind cool or local or artisan things. I'm not as high on someone with a lot of VC funding pitching a product as if it exists or will exist pretty soon and moving back the anticipated shipping date after taking people's money.
I also think the technology is bound to progress past the Coin pretty quickly, but that's a different issue.

I would like one that allows users to load on transit cards as well. Living downtown Chicago, or any big city I imagine, this is a must.
