Interesting e-mail I received from Paypal last night:
Dear Robert Roth,
We appreciate that you chose PayPal to send and receive payments for your
transactions.
After a recent review of your account activity, it has been determined that
you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy regarding receipt of
payments for a March Madness pools.
Please refer to transaction: 40D322801W948614C, 1P9318170E932320W,
7E810613EF491253C, 67M130000G509223H, 1CH39009W03391715
Under the Acceptable Use Policy, PayPal cannot be used to send or receive
payments for activities that involve gambling and/or gaming activities,
including but not limited to sports betting. Although participation in
March Madness pools is a widespread practice, the use of PayPal to
facilitate these payments is prohibited.
We recognize that you may not have been aware that March Madness pools is
considered sports betting under the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy. In order
to confirm that you are aware of our Acceptable Use Policy and avoid the
limitation of your PayPal account you will need to:
Submit the online Acceptable Use Policy affidavit.
Pending the completion of the steps above also found in the resolution
center, a warning has been placed on your account. Even though your
account has a warning on it, you can still send and receive PayPal
payments.
We encourage you to login and return your account to good standing before
March 28, 2014 to avoid having your account access restricted.

As stated earlier, you have full access to your account until the warning
expires on March 28, 2014. After that your account will be restricted. For
instructions on how to restore full use of your account, please log in to
your PayPal account and click "Resolution Center" near the top of the page.
Look for the "Steps to Remove Limitation" list. Click "Resolve," and then
follow the steps to remove the account limitation.

Did the transactions listed have March Madness or NCAA tournament in the subject line? I'm going to guess that's what set off the red flag.
