View Full Version : Trying to create a "draft preview" during the season

For NFLsim (http://184.172.55.136/~football/), I'm trying to generate a draft class early, by simming ahead and export/saving a file, to let guys preview the draft as we wind down our first regular season.

All I seem to be able to find is a .csv for the draft, but at the import stage, it seems the game is calling for a more specific draft file to import.

It seems easy enough, but I'm having trouble. Can someone walk me through the steps needed to get a draft file "from the future" to later import back in once we actually get to that proper stage naturally later on?

Thanks so much!

We also have a few team openings, so send in an application if you're interested in joining before our first offseason!

I don't think there's any way to do this, unless you are importing a file for your drafts, in which case you could post something that is sketchy at best.

No there would not be an real option to do this. Even if you would convert the .csv into a .faf file (draft file) that could import. The game uses the xfactor on the imported draft file so it wouldn't be anything near the original draft file you are using for the preview.

So the only thing you would really be previewing are the names.
