This is the issue that I'm having http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum/vbulletin-4/vbulletin-4-questions-problems-and-troubleshooting/408721-multiquotes-not-clearing
Below is the quote of mine that's not clearing. I've tried clearing all my vbulletin and operationsports cookies, and logging in and out and clearing my cache.
Does anyone actually watch these shows? The intrigue over who might take over and/or who is going to screw over the other guy is way more entertaining than the actual shows.
This.
I don't think I could tell you the last time I watched one minute of one of these shows. And I typically stay up until 2am - I ought to be their perfect target audience.

I'm posting from inside your house.

MOTHERFUCKER!!!
(the only way I can get rid of posting it with every message is to manually delete it, and I can't quote anybody else's messages either).

That's the post that automatically generates into every post he tries to make.

That's odd.

Totally odd - and totally irritating.
Tried wiping out my browsing history, my cookies, my autofill (all my stuff in chrome that I can delete) both while logged in and while logged out.
Strangely enough it doesn't happen in IE or in an Incognito window of Chrome, so it's some setting or something with this version of Chrome, but I can't figure what it would be to get it to go away.

Lemme try to delete that specific post.

Also delete your other chrome caches on your phone and tablet and log out there.
DaddyTorgo

that's a good point - lemme try deleting the caches there too. hmm

FRIGGIDY FRAGGEDY THAT DIDN'T FIX IT.
Signed out on my phone, my tablet and my computer and cleared all the data on all of them. Grrrrr.
Maybe I should just suck it up and reset my browser to default/reinstall Chrome.

Oh and it wasn't happening on my computer at work either. So it's something specific to like...this machine I imagine. To this instance of Chrome. But I can't figure out what it would be...

Try clearing your passwords or anything similar?
DaddyTorgo

I tried clearing everything - I guess I can try passwords too (although that's kinda a pain in the ass then).

Try doing a multi-quote and see if that resets it.
DaddyTorgo

doing a multi-quote didn't work.
Funny - the other quotes I selected show up for a split second, then they get overwritten.
and no, i have no autofill-stuff setup. Made sure that all cleared out anyways in chrome just in case.

Weird - so I hit the "quick reply" button and that cleared things out, but now if I go in to edit a post the stupid persistent-quote reappears and I have to manually delete it.

Okay - this is weird. The little back arrow and forward arrow next to the "attachments" dropdown box seem to like...scroll through the quotes. So I didn't have to manually reproduce this quote of yours...I just clicked the forward arrow and the old quote went away and this one came up.

Maybe I should just uninstall and reinstall Chome, as much as of a pain as that is.

Welp - resetting Chrome to factory default settings fixed it. wherever vbulletin was storing the cookie about multiquotes that I couldn't find, that cleared it out.
