I really don't know much on it. I looked at the manual and the SI forum but didn't get much info.

Yeah, I can't see doing a large-scale FM league without FM Classic. It would take forever to progress otherwise. FM Classic at least has the 'simulation' aspect so you can groom players and do tactical stuff but also get the balance of having a league that doesn't take two months to play a week.
