I put my back up forward on the transfer wire the other day for $5,000....I had bought him for $10,000 a few weeks ago but my new youth pull was taking his place, really when I got 1 bid for $5,000 yesterday I was very happy that I would atleast be close to breaking even with him, well I log on a few minutes ago and I see the longest possible list of people raising the price for him...

Elliott Aguilera (8581723)
20 years, inadequate form, healthy

A controversial person who is calm and upright.
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 40 000 US$
Wage: 700 US$/week
Owner: Louisiana Cyclones
Warnings: 0

Stamina: weak Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: weak
Winger: weak Defending: poor
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: weak

That is him, and well for some reason someone must really like him because 2 teams have gotten into a bidding war and the current bid is at $92,000!!!!!!  Well I am very very happy about this....as I am typing this it is up to $95,000. Well I just felt the need to share that with everyone because I am very happy about this and am that much closer to being able to buy my 3 star midfielder.

Edit: I just deleted all my messages and it was 52 unread...mostly I think it were the same 2 teams bidding on him

Well the bidding just finished, the winning bid was for $100,000....I guess I should have sent them each a HT mail saying the player is not worth that much at all, but I was to late....He got his team 2 days ago, kinda feel bad for him...oh well we all made mistakes like that when we started.

If you feel really bad about it, I have a few crappy players I can put on the wire for you, and you can toss some of that money my way. ;)

Consider it an early birthday present. As a fellow May 9th child, I got a bit of a freebie yesterday when I picked up a 2.5 star IMF for $4,000 while someone not quite as good went for almost $60K in the same country :) Now if only the youth pull birthday thing happens, we'll be in business.
