First thing is I've tried repairing the FOF installation and I've also searched the forums and haven't found anything on my issue.
I'm having this weird glitch where my position change system is messed up. For example my offensive lineman can't change position at all and in the box where it says things like "height is below average for his position" it says the word "static." For other positions like D-lineman or linebackers I can only change them to play in the secondary. I can't even change a LDT to a RDT.
Full disclosure: I downloaded & started playing the 3 day trial last week before buying the game. On the last trial day when I was playing the game I started seeing Adam Vinatieri's name when doing random searches or clicking on player cards, etc. I remember something like this is the feature Jim implemented to prevent unauthorized use of the game without licensing. However I was still in the trial period when it happened. On the final trial day it got worse & worse until the game eventually crashed. I restarted and bought the game because my trial had expired.
Is my file corrupted? Or is there another fix that I'm missing? I just bought this game a few days ago and this is a frustrating bug to deal with. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the game. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
