It's been awhile since we've done this, and since so many people now stream music, the results could be more interesting than in the past.

Put on your most common music source (iPod, Spotify, Pandora, computer, CD player, whatever) and put it on shuffle. What are the next 10 songs that come up?

For me, I listen to most of my music on my iPhone and have a playlist of 4200 songs or so that are currently on my phone. Since I can rarely stream (low LTE/cell signal in my building and my data plan doesn't allow for unlimited streaming anyway, no wifi I can access for streaming music, either), I rely on this music to get me through the day. I have a playlist that strips out the classical music and audiobooks/spoken word stuff and otherwise can easily be shuffled. So the next 10 songs in that playlist are...

(I find it oddly interesting to see what my randoms end up being, I usually Tweet & tags the artists on a 5 song set about every other week or so, surprising how many will RT it)

10-14 days seems like a good guess, unless you're doing different sources.

I too am regularly surprised by the randomness of "random" sometimes. And sometimes by the non-randomness. One day I had a playlist that has ~3800 songs on it turned on to random. 4 songs out of the first 10 were Linkin Park (which I assure you doesn't comprise 40% of my library ;)).
