I'm also not sure what I would judge hotness on other than purely physical attractiveness. Girls like Anna Kendrick, Emma Stone, Kristen Bell seem like they have great personalities and I'd consider myself the luckiest guy in the world if I was dating them, but on pure physical attractiveness they're not even in the conversation. Heck, if forced to pick from girl's who seems like they'd actually be fun to hang out with, Chrissy Teigen (http://instagram.com/chrissyteigen) makes those girls look like 7's. (If only I could figure out what John Legend offers that I don't!)

That's exactly what I meant! It's the complete opposite of being a hipster - I'm sure there's plenty of women out there with hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers whose pictures I'd have come across - if I were actually with the times - and dropped everything as I thought "OMG this could be the hottest woman I've ever seen."

Part of that's also the natural tendency to be more intrigued by the unknown. It's easier to say "Scarlett Johannson isn't the hottest woman in the world because (some physical imperfection)" since so many people have ogled her pictures for so long that there's been time for someone to come up with something that makes you think, "Oh yeah, it kind of is like that," and then part of the appeal is forever ruined because you can't shake that thought. That's no fun, so I like to avoid that and just be pleasantly in awe of any extremely hot woman I happen to see :)

And yes, both Elle and Cindy fall into that category for me. They both look good for 50, but there's something very peculiar about how they look now. They're doing everything they can to stay young and toned and what not, but you can't fool mother nature.

I feel sort of the same. I am a huge fan of hers. I think she's great. Pretty, funny, smart, talented, all of that... I just don't find her "hot." I feel the same way about Emma Stone. Love them both, think they are attractive, but just not quite "hot" as I'd define it.
