So, my wife and I are coming to New England and a lot of people, ourselves included, seemed to think this was a good time to do a meetup.
OT: Boston trip - last minute tips? - Page 2 - Front Office Football Central (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?p=2950362#post2950362)

We'll have spent the day at Minute Man Park and Walden Pond and are staying at the aloft in Lexington. We'll probably head back to the hotel and clean up before heading out.

Let's use this thread to throw out suggestions of places and RSVP.

In my mind, I'd be thinking about the following:
1) Somewhere that we can get into on a Saturday night without waiting in line for a long time or that accepts reservations
2) We're somewhat quiet folk but I suspect we'll be talking quite a bit so somewhere that will be ok with us chatting it up a bit but where we can still hear each other
3) Ideally, someplace with some local flavor to finish off our trip but this isn't really necessary and should not take precedence over the first two
4) Cost isn't so much of an issue for us but I don't know about everyone else's situation and we're personally not looking to pay $50+ per person, if possible (keeping in mind that the two of us won't run up much of a drink tab)
5) I'm not sure where everyone is located but it sounded like quite a few people were located out to the west, which is fine with us as that's where we're staying. However, we have a rental car so we can get wherever is needed and it's a Saturday night so traffic shouldn't be a problem (except around Fenway where it's Red Sox-Yankees in Jeter's last series)

I'm a maybe leaning to no probably due to kids stuff. Got to talk with the wife and figure out if it is possible to break free for a drive to Boston for a few hours

I'd be in as well, but we're expecting our first on the 20th! Little Sublime_3 is on her way and screwing up my fofc meetup plans.

I hear kids are able to take care of themselves only a week out of the nest. You should be fine

Or was that turtles?

Are you going to call her Chalupa Batgirl?

Homecoming weekend at UMass, very unlikely I'll make it back that night.

Do let me know if you have any questions re: day stuff in the Concord area. (There's no nightlife... If you're looking for a spot in between Lexington and Wellesley, Tempo Bistro on Moody St in Waltham is just off i-95 and pretty good. But idk if y'all are trying to go further in towards Boston.)

Well I figure we can determine a place when we figure out who all will be there sorta.

If I post a picture of a sad kitten, will more people be able to make it?

Nice bump. Figure by Friday we're 8 days out and we should lock down a location based on who's committed (with others of course free to come after but with the location determined).

Yeah, since my internet gets kindof questionable after that. I'm not real keen on public wifi so I'm mostly relegated to my phone and, well, Sprint (bandwidth not a problem but reception is)

FWIW - I get pretty good Sprint reception around here. Not noticeably worse than any other major carrier (although they'll all have their localized spots of weakness of course).

As expected, just too much going on with the family this weekend for me to get all the way in to the city. If I lived closer, I could at least pop in for a little bit. Sorry guys!

We're not planning on meeting up in the city - thinking more outside-128.

Apologies from me, but the O'Hare issues have screwed me over and so I've decided to fly-in Tuesday and so I'm going to be missing it (despite never having RSVP'ed)
