I recently won a corporate prize. It was an iPhone 5s and the company that was giving out the prizes is based in Greece. So of course, it's a weird model I've never heard of and I'm guessing won't work in the United States. What confuses me is that I can't find a ton of info on this phone and am not even sure how to list it on Ebay or anywhere else. I'm hoping there's a few phone gurus or Apple users from overseas that can help.

The model is A1457. It's 64GB. Space Gray. But the UPC matches nothing I can find online (885909782741). Neither is the Part No. ME438Y/A.

It's a long shot but wondering if anyone here can help figure out where this phone works and what I can do with it. I really hate to just have an expensive piece of electronics rot away.

You should just be able to swap out the micro SIM card for a us carrier assuming the gsm is compatible.

Does a "corporate prize" mean you won a contest through work? If so, you might want to let someone know that the prizes that are being given away have an issue.

The Part Number ME438 is for a Space Gray 64GB iPhone 5S. The Y in the part number is a country code for Spain and the Movistar cell network.
