I have been coming to this site for years and just the last 2 weeks when I open the Web page I can get to the FOF/TCY Discussion page, but when I try to log in or go to a topic I get this http 406 not acceptable. This happens on my personal laptop and my work laptop, over my home network, work network and hotel networks while I'm travelling. Any idea what's going on and how I can fix this?

BTW this is the only website that this happens on
This has been happening to me too - I haven't been able to view the forums in a long time. I just tried Firefox and it seems to be working. Normally I use Chrome for everything. I'm not sure what's going on, but perhaps you could try a different browser?

I use Chrome and haven't had an issue. Did some reading on HTTP 406 and it sounds like an issue with MIME type. I have no idea. How long as this been going on guys?
Clear your cache and all is back to normal. happened to me too. (Might have to clear cookies too, but this is a pain).

Reported to OS. I haven't seen this myself, but we've had enough complaints about this lately that it sounds like *something* is going on.

I did one of these two things the other day and it was back to normal and it never returned.

Question: does the logged in/logged out status affect it for everyone?
EDIT: For everyone who is having the issue, I mean.

It does not matter if I am logged in or out. I have done what is suggested above and it seems to help for a while but them reverts back to 406 Not Acceptable. Sometimes when I try to logg in it wont let me and just goes to 406 Not Acceptable.
