Rules (Somewhat copied from larry's excellent draft)

1) You will draft a notable person into your house from several different categories. (Listed below)
2) At the end, we will hold a vote to determine the winner. Participants may vote, but cannot vote for themselves.
3) Please don't blurt out potential picks. Don't be that guy.
4) Someone will probably be that guy and someone else will bitch and moan about it. Don't be that guy, either.
5) I'm not going to set limits on time initially since I think the last draft went rather well. But please be courteous to other FOFCers and pick in a reasonable time frame or at least designate a "Hand of the Drafter" to act in your name if you're unavailable. I have the right to impose a time limit to picks if necessary. Please PM the next guy once you've made your pick.
6) The time frame we're working with is what's in the books. Characters should be alive as Game of Thrones begins.
7) Please make your picks in bold: 1.1 - King - NobodyHere
8) As a twist on previous drafts, each drafter shall submit a house sigil and motto to use. Voters shall judge each sigil/motto are part of the draft package. (Golden Lions/ Hear Me Roar!)

There's not really that many notable Maesters...I move to have sigil/motto replace maester as a category. If someone wants to pick a Maester that bad they can do it as a servant.

Adviser is probably fine, though my vote goes to Master of Whispers specifically. Hand of the King + Adviser seems a bit too similar, while there's a little more demarcation if you specify a spymastery type role.

Well Robb was pretty young and was thrown into the grinder. I don't think he was a bad pick for heir by any means.

I picked Robert there because he was the only man to take the Iron Throne via conquest, and his track record was quite excellent in itself, having several victories and one considered draw.

Robb not only had an excellent reputation as a general, he exhibited a lot of ideal qualities for a ruler. He was still green and naive though, I don't think he would have been a strong pick for King off the bat- luckily he's a perfect fit for Heir Apparent, and grabbing him there definitely weakens the field for the Marshall spot. :devil:

Tough choices to make here. Renly was certainly the people's king, and deep down I think Robert would relish the opportunity to fight his brother's battles for him. Not hopeful for the prospect of producing heirs, but that's what Robb Stark is here to do.

As for Kevan, prior alliances aside, he was made to be a King's Hand. He was doing such a good job repairing a fractured Westeros that Varys had to come out of hiding to do for him. As a Hand, he would give sage counsel without personal aspirations.
