Combining 2 Saves? (box scores question)

I saved a league as a new name to back something up, simmed, and now notice that the previous box scores aren't showing up. I guess they are "locked" to that original save?

Is there a way to combine these? What else might I be missing in doing this?

The box scores are based on your LEAGUEID##.YYYY files where YY = the year (e.g, 2014) and ## = week number (i think it ranges from 1 to 26 or something like that). When you save as a new name, these files probably aren't carried over, as they are generated upon simming a game week only.
