Ok I just noticed that my youth squad is now excellent. Can anyone give me a general sense of a success rate with this level of a squad? I know it isn't a science, but any rough approximations for drawing talent? Should I just grab all keepers even though I need bodies in the outfield? I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks.

Well, what kind of a player did you get from your last youth pull? Your club must have hit excellent on saturday night.

I hit excellent, and have gotten decent players, including a solid scorer/inad passing. i would pull outfielders, but that's just me.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it happened on Saturday night and I need bodies right now so I think I'll be pulling outfielders.

My youth squad has been excellent for a while now, and I pull nothing but outfielders. Over the past couple of months, I seem to pull sellable players about 50% of the time. Average sale value for these players is about $100,000, give or take.

I've been excellent for about a month....i've gotten one player that i've kept..the rest i've sold...not for as high as DK has been getting...but enough to pay for the pull at least :)

I havent pulled a keeper yet.

Doesn't this just begs to be taken out of context? :)

I'm at solid for about two weeks now and my best youth pull was when my youth squad was inadequate. :(

I made over $2m off of my excellent youth squad in season 17.

Outfielders or Keepers ????

Do you have a better chance of pulling a good keeper since they only have one skill as opposed to outfielders who have many?

Well sort of... keepers also have a larger range in age. I think you can pull a keeper as old as 21. Also 17 year old keepers seemt o be considerably rarer than outfielders. And they only go up to solid :)

So the 17yo passable keeper that popped to solid two weeks after I pulled him was a GoodThing? ;)
