1. Open FOF.
2. Click on the icon to Delete Saved Game.
3. I get the "Front Office Football Seven, Version 7.1a has stopped working" message with no additional error information.

Anyone else getting this?

On a related note, is there a way to turn on some sort of "enhanced" error reporting? It seems that all crashes I'm getting in any software are given no additional information.

What OS? That used to be controlled by activating error reporting, but I'm pretty sure that's on by default these days (Win7+). Look for "Windows Error Reporting" in your control panel or settings areas. It can also be impacted by installing developer tools that redirect crashes to a debugger.

Was the game you are trying to delete started with the previous patch? Had something similar when I first updated but think it was only when deleting pre 7.1 games.

OS is Win 7 Home Premium.

I can't get to where I can delete a game. Note the flow above. When I click on the icon to Delete Saved Game, I never even get to a list. Sure, I have games saved with 7.0/7.0a in there. But some of those I want to keep.

Yeah, I think you should back up the 7.0 games elsewhere and see if that's it. I can't reproduce this with 7.1a.

No, no errors - but I accidentally deleted my SP league trying (D'oh!)

Dola, there are a couple of leagues that are showing in the menu that won't delete (and have no directories associated with them).

There is some goofiness with the delete function, because my SP league is still in the load menu, but the save game file is gone.

But, no crash.

I'm getting the error with games created with 7.1.

I'm getting the errors as well. I recently purchased the game (v 7.1a) from the developer's website. I'm using Win 8.1

Yes, this happened to me with the 7.1a. No issues before the update.
