Yikes. I guess I have SQL working. Unfortunately, the database of old articles is lost.
Just to catch people up, in case anyone actually read the blog in the past... My ISP accidentally deleted the SQL database containing the Frontier, and did not keep backups. Nor did I. So a lot of good stuff was lost. The basis of the research is still around, but I did a lot of my writing directly on Wordpress.

Depending on how many search robots you had blocked, you could try:
Internet Archive: Wayback Machine (http://archive.org/web/web.php)
And see how much they might have backed up for you...

I'd be more than a little mad if they accidentally deleted an entire database. Jeez.

Yup.
But everyone should've had backups. Jim included!

An ISP that doesnt keep backups? Thats a firing.
I can see posts back to October 27th, 2011 using Feedly... guess they've cached the data?

Thanks for the tips on where to find old content. I have a better picture of what I did over time, and maybe 20% of the total content was archived somewhere.
Yes, fireable offense. I'm generally decent with backups (at least with code), but I didn't think I had to back up online SQL. Let's just say they tried to make it up to me (enough that I was convinced they didn't have it on tape somewhere), and when that runs out I'll decide if it's time to move.
