Moving old city/nickname data from FOF 2007 to FOF7

I had an old setup of fictional teams - city and nicknames - that I used back in FOF 2007. I'd like to grab that file and use it again in FOF7.

Is doing so as simple as just finding the right file(s) and copying them into a new location? If so, can someone help me know what to look for, where it likely is now for the old game and where I'd need it for the new game?

I believe the two files are the .fcy and .fni files for your league. I don't know if it's that simple but you could give it a shot.

Those are the files, but you have to make a small edit with a text editor. I used Notepad++. I don't know if Notepad would work. Very close to the beginning of each of the files there is an "06" which needs to be changed to "07" to make it work.
