The Godfather 2. I'm sure if they made a 3rd one, it would be fantastic.

It would also be okay if they just released the eight prequels, instead.

Alas, sometimes a sequel(s) can be so bad that it actually makes the original look worse... Yes, I'm looking at you, The Matrix.

I see a lot of the responses here are not serious, but this is something that I've thought about a great deal.
One movie in particular that deserves a sequel is Groundhog Day. A few years ago while I was bored I actually spent some time filming a trailer for Groundhog Day 2. Picture quality isn't great, but check it out (http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1957600025/).

Speaking of District 9... not a sequel, but..
An 'Alien' movie is coming from the creator of 'District 9' (http://www.engadget.com/2015/02/18/neill-blomkamp-making-alien-movie/?ncid=rss_truncated)
District 9 creator Neill Blomkamp gave sci-fi fans a brief glimmer of hope in January, when he teased that he had secretly been working on an Alien sequel that had (apparently) been scuttled. Well, it might be back on again -- Blomkamp is now claiming on Instagram (with support from Variety sources) that the project is "officially [his] next film."

Great series. And I was in the minority that really enjoyed Alien: Resurrection.

I am ridiculously excited about this. He's shown off some artwork for it recently and it looks fantastic.
Loved D9 and really looking forward to Chappie.

I also want a sequel to The Princess Bride, that movie was awesome

There are so many horrible horrible answers in this thread, you guys should be ashamed.
The Incredibles is the correct answer. District 9 would be close, but Elysium is so bad, it is probably for the best they didn't go back to the well with District 9.
As for Princess Bride, Goodfellas, Departed, etc. Really? Those movies were perfect, leave them alone.

It's got to be Titanic.
Ok, Incredibles would be awesome (which is on the way).

Personally I thought District 9 ended perfectly. A sequel would just ruin the Kafkaesque ending.
