so far tennessee is handling this draft buzz oddly. they need a qb pretty badly, but publicly say they Mettenberger can get it done. why? this isnt a blake bortles situation where you need to shock everyone. they pick 2nd, no one can beat them to the 2nd qb.
and if you really dont want a qb, why not make it *seem* like you do? it's in their best interest to drum up as much interest in whichever qb will go 2nd, to try and get a good offer.
even if they love the dt already know he's their pick, it's baffling to me that they wouldnt leak to anyone doing mock drafts that they want to go qb at 2 and create a market.

Maybe they really want the 1st QB. Or they're hoping to trade down and still get a QB.
