Is it:
- white and gold; or
- black and blue

There is clearly only one correct answer here and I just want to make sure everyone can agree on it.

Okay, that's creepy and weird. Every version I've seen up until now has been white and gold. I saw Lathum's comment about it being different on his phone, so I called it up there.

Didn't log in on the phone, so the background was red/yellow instead of the black/green I usually view. It showed up black/blue on my phone. I glanced back up at the TV and it had gone from white/gold to black/blue.

I still can only see white/gold unless I am very intentionally trying to see blue/black by changing viewing angle or squiting my eyes a whole lot. At the point of the transition though, it's like flipping a light switch, not gradual.

Laurel ... though I appreciate the pitch tricks used to make it sound otherwise.

My kids can't hear the Laurel at all. Just Yanny.

Heard Yanny at first, but can hear Laurel after watching that explanation (and turning the headphones up).

Hearing the incorrect Yanny instead of the obviously correct Laurel gave the poor guy a stroke.

Yanny, and I am every bit as perplexed as I was by the dress.

On my phone, when I have the volume set low, I hear Yanny. But when I turn it up, I clearly hear the "L" sounds of Laurel.

I hear something more resembling Yarry or Yerry, and more concerned than ever.

A neat tool from the NY Times. And as a bonus, if you read to the end, you get the actual correct answer as to what the voice is meant to be saying.

I already knew I had high-frequency hearing loss, but this woulda confirmed it if I hadn't.

When he breaks the two apart, I hear "Laurel" and "boop."

When they run overlapping, I hear something kinda like Yaurel.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I never ever thought I would be able to hear Yanny until this.

Not that it was a big deal, but it WAS.

The guy that posted that picture was arrested for attempted murder of the dress wearer and ended up with 54 months in prison. It was a rough decade.

Speaking of simpler times, it looks like searching "HerRealName" doesn't find the old threads...was that HornsManiac?
