I don't like the CPU automatically drafting players like Tom Brady in the first round, when in reality he was drafted in the 6th. Is there any way to make the order players are drafted more realistic?

This is more realistic. Remember, the NFL screwed that up, FOF apparently doesn't. :)

Maybe not Brady good, but Hall of Fame good? Sure.

I haven't FOF7 yet, but in 2k7 almost impossible to get an elite QB after about the 5th pick of the first round. That omits a lot of "real life" elites who were drafted later - not just deep sleepers like the guys I just mentioned. There hasn't been a QB inducted into the HoF since 2006 (Aikman and Moon), but looking at the next wave on the horizon: Warner, Manning, Brady, Favre, McNabb, Rodgers - only two were drafted in the top half of the first round.*

I'm talking about a 80+ rated QB or a guy who makes the Hall of Fame.

I did have one 2nd rounder make the Hall in an earlier career. He topped out around a 68 rating. I've never seen a QB from a computer run team have that kind of success though.

Well, I do agree a little bit in that maybe a greater degree of randomness would be nice -- such as the 6th round player who looks like nothing but then ends up being 70/70.

But having been a veteran of many, many, many draft classes that I've studied top down, I guess I'd say my impression is this: the draft is very interesting. Round 1 through Round 7, and then the UDFAs. There is plenty of study to do for each one as you try to land good players throughout.
