Question 1: Is training extremely important in player development and team success?
Question 2: What are the most important aspects to schedule? (I.E. most important activity to invest in)
Question 3: Would it be beneficial to put a long time into team functions to improve affinities within the team?
Question 4: Does the study films and playbook phase of camp increase the likelihood of picking up more plays for the QB to use in game? Does a QB's quarterback style determine the plays they will learn? Any other factors?
Question 5: Does training camp activities have a greater impact on players with untapped potential over 10-year veterans that are already fully developed? (I.E. focus heavily on practice passing plays for rookie QBs and WRs)
Thanks for your incites.

1) I kinda guessed training was related to injury prevention. Haven't thought about it much, though.
2) Not sure; this is quite open ended and I don't think people have effectively tested most of it. We only have the official, cryptic documentation in the help files to rely on. I'm open to experimenting around. Different players have quite different convictions. If there's some universal conventional wisdom it doesn't seem widely disseminated.
3) Not sure, but I don't think it will improve any affinities you see on the team. It might make improve their effect (I don't remember if this is for affinities, cohesion, or both), but the strength of affinities and conflicts as you see them are based on personality strength.
4) This one seems to be one where a lot of people take time out of. People have taken it down to 0:01 and still had QBs gain formations. People have left it unchanged and had QBs lose formations. That said, it's not been quantified what the different % risks are. Or more importantly, if it affects something other than the number of formations a QB has.
5) Hm, that's a good question. I'd guess no, but I am not sure. I would guess those areas of training are straightforward modifier bonus/malus for the entire team.

My additions in red.

Don't deviate too much from the default, which is true for a lot of the settings in the game. If you want to focus more in passing than rushing, put an extra hour into that and take away from running and elsewhere. There's no magic formula. People have messed with 1 min in ST, but I didn't like the effect of having more botched FGs, even if it was 3 or so a year extra screw ups.

It might make improve their effect (I don't remember if this is for affinities, cohesion, or both), but the strength of affinities and conflicts as you see them are based on personality strength. Time spent attending team functions improves team cohesion, reduces the effect of team chemistry problems and may lead to increased loyalty among players.

Or more importantly, if it affects something other than the number of formations a QB has. - if your interest is having your QB gain formations, then yes, put more time into this. That said, your QB is not going to suddenly gain 7 formations by putting a ton of time into this. It's random. All you're doing is increasing the chance the QB will gain a formation. Nothing is guaranteed.
