Who throughout history would you put forward as closest to "the perfect human"? Brilliant, creative, athletic, attractive, noble, artistic -- impressive in all physical and mental attributes. Di Vinci? Ben Franklin?

Same question for the person alive today that is closest to "the perfect human"? Justin Timberlake? Pumpy Tudors?

Do we know enough about Di Vinci to give him the nod? He's got inventive and artistic maxxed but did he wrassle him a bear at an early age or anything? Was he funny? Any philanthropic endeavors?

Franklin was funny, Founding Father, inventive, by some accounts a ladies man or a lecherous old perv depending on the report but at least he was pulling it in, if you know what I mean.

How smart/creative/mentally impressive were Babe Ruth, Jim Thorpe, or (is ) Bo Jackson. I seem to recall that Bo Knows ... things...

I'm going to question your definition of "perfect human."

You suggest that "Brilliant, creative, athletic, attractive, noble, artistic -- impressive in all physical and mental attributes" defines perfect human.

According to biblical theology, there has only been one "perfect human," and that's Jesus of Nazareth. Yet we are specifically told, contrary to Hollywood depictions, he was not a paragon of "attractiveness."

But going by your definition, I might suggest Michelangelo had the right idea when he made his sculpture - "brilliant, creative, athletic, attractive, noble, artistic" - King David of Israel.

She became known through her dancing (which is a kind of art, I think) and appearance while competing at a high level physical competition. In addition to competing in Algeria she has modeled and studies engineering.

She clearly doesn't come close to reaching the levels of DaVinci in art and intellect or reach Bo Jackson/Babe Ruth levels of athletic achievements, but she seems to be well above average in most areas mentioned.

I'm wondering if in considering the perfect human how you go about considering all the categories. Is it good enough to be brilliant at two even if some other attributes are below average, or someone who is very good at all of them but no where near enough to even be considered the best at a single one. If it were known Da Vinci was a poor athlete or unattractive would he still be considered?

Let's say aliens come down having never seen a human before. "I'm a human", you say.
"What's that mean?" barks their Universal Translator device.
"It's ... uh ....", you mumble.
"OK, we don't have time for this. The anal probe only has one charge left. Which one of you is the 'best' example of your race." This could determine whether we befriend the aliens or become their pets. Don't just offer up someone that you want to see anally probed.

As for rating each person, consider it multiplicative. For the math-challenged, ratings of 10*5*5 = 250, and 8*8*8=512. So, being the best in one or two categories and average elsewhere doesn't get you as much as being rated reasonably high, but maybe not the best, in all categories.
