Hello Fellow-Sprite Folk! I hope you all are doing fantabously today!


Today was quite a surprise wasn't it? By the end of the day we had 7 players at level 2 in our fuschia block. About half of the players have already leveled up.

We have assessed players based on current level, items, and such, and have given a quick rating to the top five players out there. This is totally my Sprite's subjective thing, but here you go:

Well, that's close to where I'd put them pet Sprite, but I'd flip Jackal and Ragone. Hey that;s your call though!

Well I managed to find a room without a star-yeah Silver Claw! Unfortunately I find a room filled with cobwebs, some guzak bones (gulp!)..and you guessed it, a giant spider! It surprised me and attacked first, taking half my health with one bite and poisoned me as well. Cast my spirit of pain again and watched it very slowly take out the spider-saved again! Found a little bit of gold. and got enough xp to barely make 2nd level! new spell, blade of warding, blocks some attacks that would otherwise hit, which makes one injured tired Guzak very happy :)

I should search this place, good chance I find something...or something finds me too. :(

What happened for you timmae?

Well, you know we entered that burial chamber for Siko. Well, as the legends postulate, Siko was a master at keeping her opponents from gaining ground and had even started a school of martial arts. It is blind luck that as a Sis-Sharr I am taught early on that movement can be your best defense. We know all of the legends and histories of Siko. A better master of defense you will not find.

In addition to the legends heard as a young Sis-Sharr, I had chosen early on to become skilled in the ways of the Kensai. The Kensai are artful warriors that incorporate movement and defense as a main strategy. We cannot wear armor and become very skillful in dodging attacks as we progress, becoming warriors with reflexes equal to heavy suits of armor.

With my history there couldn't have been a more apt possession to stumble upon than Siko's tomb of history that she herself had written. This is an invaluable book that simply cannot be found anywhere else. In addition the opportunity to gather her ashes for future holdings could be passed up.

I decided to attempt to retrieve the possessions knowing that they are likely guarded by some kind of spirit. Indeed, a Spirit of Shadowsong was protecting the items. It awoke when I tried to grab the book and a tough battle ensued. I hit for decent damage with my first swing of my guisarme and was instantly attacked by the Spirit. It hit me and I was blinded. Luckily I am very agile and have sound footing so I was able to gather myself even though my sight was gone. I sensed the spirit nearby and took a few more swings but I did not connect. Luckily I was not attacked either as I was dodging whatever attacks may be thrust my way. It happened to hit me with a glancing blow as I stepped to the side after my 2nd miss and I was able to obtain a feel for where the spirit may be. With one final mighty swing I was able to hit the spirit directly for the final killing shot.

My sight returned a short while later and I found that I did not take more than about 15% of damage. All in all it was a worthwhile trade for the artifacts obtained.

I will be keeping the book as it is very dear to me. The ashes are as well but I can already sense the huge power that lurks within. While I want to keep the ashes as well as a prized possession they could be invaluable to a spirit magic user. I believe Silver Claw (Thomkal) is our only ritualist in the dungeon. I would be willing to trade if the price is right.

Well, you know we entered that burial chamber for Siko. Well, as the legends postulate, Siko was a master at keeping her opponents from gaining ground and had even started a school of martial arts. It is blind luck that as a Sis-Sharr I am taught early on that movement can be your best defense. We know all of the legends and histories of Siko. A better master of defense you will not find.

In addition to the legends heard as a young Sis-Sharr, I had chosen early on to become skilled in the ways of the Kensai. The Kensai are artful warriors that incorporate movement and defense as a main strategy. We cannot wear armor and become very skillful in dodging attacks as we progress, becoming warriors with reflexes equal to heavy suits of armor.

With my history there couldn't have been a more apt possession to stumble upon than Siko's tomb of history that she herself had written. This is an invaluable book that simply cannot be found anywhere else. In addition the opportunity to gather her ashes for future holdings could be passed up.

I decided to attempt to retrieve the possessions knowing that they are likely guarded by some kind of spirit. Indeed, a Spirit of Shadowsong was protecting the items. It awoke when I tried to grab the book and a tough battle ensued. I hit for decent damage with my first swing of my guisarme and was instantly attacked by the Spirit. It hit me and I was blinded. Luckily I am very agile and have sound footing so I was able to gather myself even though my sight was gone. I sensed the spirit nearby and took a few more swings but I did not connect. Luckily I was not attacked either as I was dodging whatever attacks may be thrust my way. It happened to hit me with a glancing blow as I stepped to the side after my 2nd miss and I was able to obtain a feel for where the spirit may be. With one final mighty swing I was able to hit the spirit directly for the final killing shot.

My sight returned a short while later and I found that I did not take more than about 15% of damage. All in all it was a worthwhile trade for the artifacts obtained.

I will be keeping the book as it is very dear to me. The ashes are as well but I can already sense the huge power that lurks within. While I want to keep the ashes as well as a prized possession they could be invaluable to a spirit magic user. I believe Silver Claw (Thomkal) is our only ritualist in the dungeon. I would be willing to trade if the price is right.

Timmae, I'm obviously interested in the ashes, right now you are second in line for ashes trades, so I hope you are able to hold on to them for me until I'm able to trade for them.

With a little luck I was able to find a hidden path made for Dvergr. A few hits of my Dragon's Claw and I found a path. I decided to head down the path and was met with an attack from a wisp.

It hit me once before I took it out and I finally hit level two!!

I found 100 gold, a nocturne potion and a wand. I also started glowing and grew a foot taller.

I look forward to moving ahead today and seeing what I can find.

That would be my cat Cloud there, we get little lizards called anoles here. They get in the house and Cloud likes to pick them up. Usually by the tail, which have the ability to fall off and regrow.

About teh Weekend!


How are we going to run it? I'm flexible.


So, we'll finish Day 5 tomorrow. Normally, games here ave teh weekend off, so you would skip until Monday. Day 6 starts Monday morning at 10, and we move on. Yay!

However, there are other options. For example, we could do this:



Day 6 Morning Action due Saturday at Noon

Day 6 Movmenet Action due Saturdya at 8:00 pm

Day 6 Evening action due Sunday at Noon

Day 6 Night Action due Sunday at 8:00 pm

and then Day 7 would resume Monday at 10:00 am

That spreads out the Day over two days and gives you lots of time to talk things over or think.

I would be more than happy to do something else. Hell, if you folks are 15 for 15 and want to run Day 6 and & over Saturday and sunday like normal days, I'm in. Whatevs, you know?

Well this was almost another wasted Day for me. :) Had to skip the morning action cause I was stuck in the web still. I moved into what appears on the surface to be a lovely garden...then a closer look showed me that about 20 vegepygmies were tending to the plants peacefully- I cannot disturb them without attacking them-one at a time for whoever long that takes. Now we've got the Djinn market-so I cannot attack them this phase either (sigh)

This is the Misenchanted Sword

Late one night out in the plane of Eshtar, a wizard was enchanting a sword for a soldier who had just rescued him. But he used the wrong ingredient and it was Misenchanted . Whenever it is drawn, the wielder must kill someone or something. And the sword gets +2 to do that task! Then it can be sheathed. If there are no enemies, you are forced to fight a party member. But here’s the thing, the Sword was Misenchanted so that it would kill 99 people, and then on the 100th time, it would be drawn and kill the user. Then whoever picked it up would be able to use it 98 times before they would die, etc.

Well you picked it up genius. And there’s the thing. It has 3 times, 3 kills left. Then on the 4th you die.

Oh, and its' cursed. Duh. So you can't get rid of the sword.

So good luck!

Oh, and btw, any class who has the TMS can use it.

Welcome back to the analysis of all of the Day Four action across the various Dungeons!

We are just finishing up the heated debate about the Mulberry Arena - a player found it early, and then it killed them and it's been the talk of teh day, right Sparkles?


Right! So Awesome! Over in Fushcia Block, we had a lot of noteworthy action going on. Two players made 4th level in four days. That's good going, but at the same time, we had the cursed item with the personality found there, and like many other obstacles, this is one from another plane.
