I am going to start off a dynasty with the raiders with the most recent download. I am not using any house rules but I am trying to build with a sustainable success model. I will be primarily building through the draft, only signing free agents to fill in holes and generally looking for bargains there. Most of my salary cap will go to retaining talent that I develop and I will usually try to keep my successful pick as long as they have value.

The first thing I looked at when I opened my new file was to see if I had a QB to work with in Derek Carr. He looks like everything I could need there. 23/63 overall points to a likely bumpy first year but better days to come.

His strengths include 30/89 read defense, 32/86 medium passes, 18/72 short passes, and 32/82 accuracy.

His weak points a 6/18 timing and 11/34 deep passes.

He also already knows 11 formations including a couple 2 TE sets and 4 extra WR sets.

I am going to have to find weapons to put around him but he looks like a great building block.

My other major rookie to look at is obviously Khalil Mack. The 5th overall pick looks to have all pro potential, 53/85. He is an elite run defender, 60/98, with the endurance to play all game, 88/94, and is a great hitter. 84. His coverage ability is his biggest weakness though it should become very good, Man 35/78, zone 32/70, bump 56/77.

He should allow us to have good coverage on most tight ends and also be strong against the run.

Looking over the roster as a hole there are strengths and weaknesses but we certainly have some building blocks.

QB: We already went over our starter. 34 overall Matt Schaub and 12/22 Matt McGloin offer essentially nothing as backups.

RB: A position of strength but an aging position. Starter Maurice Jones-Drew is a 58 overall with 83 breakaway speed and 72 hole recognition but is in his 9th year. 57 overall backup Darren McFadden is in his 7th year and has the same strengths with 94 breakaway and 90 hole recognition but is limited to inside running with just 22 speed to the outside. Lataius Murray, 19/21, has 86 breakaway speed but 0 power inside, avoid drops, and 3rd down catching. UDFA Leonardo Unverzagt, 27/45, was signed to add some depth with power inside, 42, and hole recognition, 16/56.

FB: Another aging but solid position, 7th year pro Marcel Reece, 59, is a good pass catcher, 85 avoid drop 71 route running, and a strong runner, 71 power inside. He is only decent as a blocker, 45 run blocking 43 blocking strength. 3rd year backup Jamize Olawale, 14/18, does not look like he will make the team.

TE: Seeing the bleak prospects we had here I went out and added UDFA TE Jacob Lieberman, 27/45. While he is likely currently overrated by my staff he looks like a consistent pass catcher, 27/52 avoid drops, 39/61 getting downfield, 28/59 route running, even though he won’t make big plays, 15 big play receiving. Of the others on the roster the most likely starter was Mychal Rivera, 23/35, who is tough over the middle, 46/63 courage, and on third downs 44/67. He makes a lot of drops 0/1 and is a weak route runner, 10/14, though. 4th year man David Ausberry, 23/32, is the veteran of the team and is decent getting downfield, 30/47, and adjusting to throws, 39/60, but is mid 20s and 30s elsewhere. Brian Leonhardt, 15/35, and Nick Kasa, 11/13, will be unlikely to make the team.

WR: 8th year FA signing James Jones, 61, offers a big play threat, 88, with great ball skills, 95 adjust, who doesn’t drop passes, 87. He also has some punt return value, 56. On the other side Rod Streater, 36/47, offers a pure big play threat, 84, but struggles getting downfield, 6/8, and with endurance, 16/23. UDFA Archie Kenworthy, 26/47, was brought in to challenge him. He is consistent avoiding drops, 25/61, and making plays on 3rd downs, 42/61. Denarius Moore, 34/37, is good getting downfield, 74 but cannot run routes, 0, and avoids the middle , 23 courage. Andre Holmes, 28/39, and Brice Butler, 24/29, look to fight for the last spot.

C: Stefen Wisniewski, 45/57, is in his 4th year and is a good run blocker, 40/70, but not a great pass blocker, 29/34. 9th year pro Kevin Boothe, 37/46, is a solid backup but still not a pass protector, 6/10.

LG: This is a serious position of need. Projected starter Austin Howard, 25/26, has great strength, 81, but is a terrible run, 14/18, and pass, 0, blocker. 3rd round pick Gabe Jackson, 17/23, is worse as a run blocker, 2/4, but is a decent pass blocker, 30/44.

RG: Projected Starter Tony Bergstrom, 25/34, is a decent run, 33/42, and pass, 26/48, blocker but lacks strength, 14. UDFA Jalen Cox, 18/47, was brought in to challenge and looks like he has potential, run blocking 15/57, pass 6/54.

LT: Another hole, 8th year man Donald Penn, 36, brings solid strength, 63. 3rd year pro Matt McCants, 15/18 and UDFA Damien Flannery, 21/47, will fight for the backup spot.

RT: Last year’s 2nd rounder, Menelik Watson, 26/37, should be the starter here which is sad. 10th year man Khalif Barnes, 19, and UDFA Don Wardzala, 18/46 will fight to back him up

Specialists: Our one area of strength, our kicker Sebastian Janikowski, 77, has a huge leg, 86 power, but is a 15 year vet. 3rd year punter Marquette King, 69/75, has a huge leg, 83/85 power.

LE: LaMarr Woodley, 56, should be a solid end for an 8th year pro. His best move is his bull rush, 63 rush strength. He is backed up by 7th round pick Shelby Harris, 24//42, who is a good technique rusher, 25/56, and by UDFA Ashton Lowe, 22/53, who is best against the run, 24/79. 2nd year man Benson Mayowa, 12/16, will likely be cut.

RE: Justin Tuck, 66, in his 10th year is a great finesse rusher, 78 technique, and a hard hitter, 85. UDFA Tracy Schofer, 27/51, looks like a well rounded pass rusher, 72 strength, 21/58 technique. 5th year end CJ Wilson, 25/28, will have a struggle to make the team.

LDT: Pat Simms, 36, is the current pick to start. He is smart, 80 diagnosis, but struggles against the run, 20. 4th round rookie Justin Ellis, 31/37, offers much the same, 90 diagnosis, 15/28 run defense. UDFA Butch Summers, 21/54 is a complete wildcard but is a good all around pass rusher, 18/72 technique, 40 strength, and is solid against the run, 12/56.

RDT: This is another aging spot with 11th year man Antonio Smith, 53. He is undersized at 6’3” 274 lbs but is a great inside finesse rusher, 100. 2nd year man Stacy McGee, 31/49, and UDFA Joey Stargell, 29/48, will fight for the backup spot. McGee is the better rusher, 42/78 technique, 41 strength, while Stargell is better against the run, 28/68.

MLB: Nick Roach, 33, is a great pass rusher from the spot, 85 technique, but struggles against the run, 25. UDFA Jarge Devine, 15/47, shows promise as a smart, 20/63 diagnosis, run stopper, 15/65. 6th year backer Kaluka Maiava, 22/27, will struggle to make it. Miles Burris, 31/51, also moved over from WLB and brings hard hitting, 67, run defense, 35/65.

SLB: We already discussed Khalil Mack. Kaelin Burnett, 18/21, is his backup so Mack better stay healthy.

WLB: Sio Moore, 47/64, could be a great WLB. He is a hard hitter, 83, and a great pass rusher, 58/80 technique, 82 strength. UDFA Bojay Filimoeatu, 16/34, offers little as a backup.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 59/67, is good in zone, 56/81, and bump, 94 coverage as well as having great ball skills, 94 interception. He struggles in man to man however, 18/22. Carlos Rogers, 45, s a well rounded backup. 4th rounder Keith McGill, 36/52, is also great in zone, 50/81, and struggles in man, 7/15. UDFA Bernie Cullors, 29/55, is more well rounded. 7th rounder Travis Carrie, 23/25, and 4th year man Taiwan Jones, 21/31, likely won’t make the team.

RCB: 8th year pro Tarell Brown, 51, is a physical run support, 68, corner with good press skills, 60. Chimdi Chekwa, 23/36, is a good press cover, 54/74, backup. UDFA Joseph Fender, 25/53, is great in press, 44/80, and solid in man, 16/64. Neiko Thorpe, 15/16, does not belong in this league.

SS: Usama Young, 32/35, is good in run support, 76, bu terrible in zone, 0/1, and press,0, coverage and at making picks, 0. Tyvon Branch, 33, is more well rounded.

FS: Somehow Charles Woodson, 45, is still playing at 37 years old and is a well rounded safety. Jonathan Dowling, 4/14, could currently be the worst player in the league and the 7th round pick likely wont make it. UDFA Reginald Hawkins, 17/49, looks like he could be a very smart safety, 31/76 diagnosis.

LS: Jon Condo, 14, is a solid longsnapper, 68.

Preseason:

Week 1: Matt Schaub went 10-12 for 99 yards and a score and Derek Carr went 6-8 for 52 and led a scoring drive as we won our opener 10-6. Also, our line stepped up and only allowed 1 sack while we recorded 3.

Week 2: We, again, came out on top this time 34-31 over Detroit. After they quickly went up 28-7 on a pair of passes from Matt Stafford and another pair from Kellen Moore DJ Hayden returned a pick 61 yards for a score. In the 2nd half Matt McGloin took over going 6-9 for 102 yards and 2 scores, 1 to each of the starting wide receivers.

Week 3: For the 3rd straight week we won, this time beating the Packers 31-27. Archie Kenworthy made 3 catches on 3 targets racking up 36 yards and 2 TDs and schaub went 14-19 for 112 yards and 3 scores. Darren McFadden ran 20 times for 102 yards.

Week 4: We finished the preseason undefeated beating the Seahawks 20-13. Robert Turbin was player of the game though, racking up 143 yards on 27 carries including 6 that topped 10 yards and adding 4 grabs for 28 yards. On our side Derek Carr went 8-15 for 113 yards and a score

Our draft ended up worse than we had hoped. Derek Carr dropped to a 22/54 and Khalil Mack is now a 55/73. A fair number of UDFAs stayed above 40 though which was nice.

In the last preseason game a pair of UDFAs who were set to make an impact got hurt and went on IR. TE Jacob Lieberman, who had won the starting TE spot tore his rotator cuff, and MLB Jorge Devine, who looked like a solid backup MLB, is set to miss 51 weeks with reconstructive knee surgery.

Corner Bernie Cullors, another UDFA who maintained a decent rating, will miss 8 weeks with a broken arm.

Also, as we enter week 1, backup C Kevin Boothe is doubtful for 2 weeks with a pulled calf, backup QB Matt McGloin is questionable for 1 week with a viral infection, backup MLB Nick Roach is questionable for 2 weeks with a hyperextended elbow, LS Jon Condo is probable for 3 weeks with a strained rotator cuff, FB Marcel Reece is probable 1 week with a sprained thumb, and backup FS Reginald Hawkins is probable 1 week with knee tendinitis.

We enter week 1 traveling to face the Raiders led by QB Geno Smith. They are 6 point favorites over us thanks to having way better teams on both sides in the trenches.

We came out and scored quickly and a big 2nd quarter with a pair of Derek Carr TD throws had us entering halftime with a 20-7 lead. We slowed down in the 2nd half but a good late 4th drive set us up to win it 23-21 on a 28 yard FG which Janikowski drilled.

Carr went 21/29 for 254 yards and 2 scores while MJD ran 24 times for 76 yards. Denarius Moore led the team with 74 yards on his 3 grabs while Streater added 2 grabs for 46 and a score and Archie Kenworthy caught a 9 yard score.

The Jets did their damage on the ground as Chris Johnson ran 20 times for 124 yards and a score and Bilal Powell added 5 for 19 and a score. Geno Smith was just 15/29 for 123 yards with a TD and a pick.

Sio Moore led the team with 8 tackles and LaMarr Woodley racked up 2.5 sacks. DJ Hayden also had a pick.

Week 2 we are facing a Houston team that was the worst in the league last year. Despite that and the game being in Oakland we are an 11 point underdog.

We do look healthier this week. Bernie Cullors is still out 7 weeks and Kevin Boothe is upgraded to questionable for the nest 2. Darren McFadden, our number 2 back, is questionable for 2 weeks with a viral infection. Jon Condo, our longsnapper is probable the next 2 weeks with a strained rotator cuff and backup MLB Nick Roach is probable this week with a hyperextended elbow.

This week we are actually expected to win on the defensive side in the trenches but they own the rest of the matchups there.

Despite the 11 point prediction this was a very close contest. A pair of MJD touchdowns were all he scoring in the 1st quarter but they answered ith 24 straight including a couple big strikes to Andre Johnson. Charles Woodson made it a 3 point game again though, in the 3rd, with a 47 yard pick 6. Andre Johnson pushed the lead to 30-21 with another long score where they missed the XP. With 2 minutes left we cut it to a 2 point game on an 80 yard play by James Jones but they ended up running the clock out.

Derek Carr went 22/30 for 200 yards with a TD and a pick and MJD added 62 on the ground on 14 carries and scored twice. James Jones caught 6 passes on 8 targets racking up 116 yards and a TD.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was effecient going 23/28 for 266 yards with 4 TDs and a pick and added 30 yards on 7 carries. Arian Foster ran 13 times for 65 yards and added 17 and a score on 3 catches but the real difference was Andre Johnson with 7 grabs on 10 targets gaining 141 yards and 3 TDs.

Charles Woodson and Kaelin Burnet each had 9 tackles and woodson had the pick 6. Justin Tuck added 2 sacks and 2 hurries and the team also forced and recovered a pair of fumbles.

Week 3 we are facing an 0-2 New England squad. With us on the road we are a 3 point underdog but this is the closest they have projected us so far.

Bernie Cullors is still out facing another 6 weeks injured. Marcel Reece sprained a knee ligament and is questionable for the next 8 weeks. Rookie Khalil Mack is also questionable for he next 3 weeks with a sprained knee. Darren Mcfadden is probable this week with his viral infection and LS Jon Condo is still probable 1 more week with his strained rotator cuff.

They are projected the better team in all phases of the game except special teams so this may not go so great.

They took the game over pretty quick scoring 2 straight TDs. We answered with a 10 point 2nd quarter but were blanked 20-0 in the 2nd half leading to a 34-10 loss.

Derek Carr went 13/23 for 132 yards with a TD and a pick and Schaub when he came in went 2/5 for 22 yards. MJD was held to 36 yards on 17 carries and 13 of those came on 1 run. He did make a 15 yard TD catch though. James Jones led the team with 35 yards on 2 grabs. Jones, MJD, and Carr each had a fumble though.

Tom Brady went 22/28 for 321 and 3 scores and a pick. Shane Vereen racked up 87 yards on 14 carries and Stevan Ridley had 71 on 26 with a td and caught 7 passes on 7 targets for 48 and a score. Rob Gronkowski added 5 grabs for 103 and a TD and Brandon LaFell had 3 for 81 and a score.

Sio Moore had 14 tackles and Tyvon Branch added 13. DJ Hayden added in a pick but as a team we had 3 hurries and no sacks compared to 4 hurries, 7 knockdowns, 2 blocked passes, and 6 sacks by the Patriots.

Week 4 we get to host a 3-0 Miami squad expected to beat us by 8 points. Led by a great DLine with Cameron Wake, 92, Jared Odrick, 63, Randy Starks, 61, and Dion Jordan, 54, they look to be a challenge even with Matt Moore, 25/36, as their QB.

We are pretty healthy this week. Backup corner Bernie Cullors is still out 5 more weeks with his broken arm and FB Marcel Reece and SLB Khalil Mack are still questionable for 7 and 2 weeks respectively with their knee injuries.

Miami started the game on point scoring the first 27 points over the course of almost 3 full quarters while holding us scoreless. With under 2 minutes left in the 3rd we finally got a FG and then early in the 4th Schaub hit Denarius Moore for a 46 yard score on which we missed the 2 point try before they added a pointless FG with 2 minutes left to win 30-9.

Derek Carr had his worst game as a starter going 9/26 for 55 yards and a pick and was sacked 6 times. Matt Schaub did better going 14/21 for 190 with a TD and a pick. MJD ran 11 times gaining just 13 yards and was the team's top rusher. He also lost a fumble. Denarius Moore caught 4 passes for 61 yards and a score.

Matt Moore went just 10/20 for 132 yards but did throw 2 TDs. Lamar Miller ran 30 times for 170 yards and a TD. Brian Hartline caught 4 passes for 40 yards and a TD and Charles Clay caught 2 for 19 and a score.

Khalil Mack led the defense with 12 tackles and a sack. Cameron Wake led the other team with 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks a blocked pass, a hurry, 2 knockdowns, and a fumble recovery though.

Week 5 we have a bye week. This should help us get even healthier.

Week 6 we are finally a favorite facing a 1-4 San Diego team in Oakland. Led by QB Philip Rivers, 65, and safety Eric Weddle, 78, they should be the better team but we are given a 3 point edge.

Bernie Cullors was upgraded to Doubtful this week but I am leaving him out. Marcel Reece still has 5 weeks as probable with his knee injury.

Despite the media view that this could be a close game it was over from the start as San Diego rushed out to a 28-3 half time lead and ended up burying us 35-13 with 7 of those points coming in the 4th quarter with Matt McGloin at QB.

Derek Carr went 16/24 for 127 yards and a pick and lost 2 fumbles. Matt McGloin went 12/26 for 113 and a score. MJD ran 14 times for 42 yards and DMC added 9 for 37. Archie Kenworthy had 17 targets out of nowhere and caught 11 passes for 113 yards and a score.

Philip Rivers went 18/29 for 147 with 3 TDs and a pick and Donald Brown ran 16 times for 45 yards. Keenan Allen caught 8 passes for 104 yards and a score while Danny Woodhead added 2 for 6 and a score and Seyi Ajirotutu caught 2 for 20 and a score.

Charles Woodson had a pick for our side while Khalil Mack racked up 8 tackles and Justin Tuck recorded a sack.

Week 7 we are facing a 2-3 Arizona team favored by 8 points on our field. They have an especially strong defensive backfield led by corner Patrick Peterson, 84.

Every time someone gets healthy it seems we lost another. Rod Streater broke his foot and is out 3 weeks. Archie Kenworthy will take his starting spot. Bernie Cullors is now active and questionable with 2 weeks left Marcel Reece has 4 probable weeks left.

Despite scoring first on a James Jones 7 yard grab we once again can't hold up. We did narrow it as close as 21-17 in the 3rd but they won 38-17.

Derek Carr was decent going 19/31 for 199 and 2 scores but he did throw 2 picks. MJD ran 19 times for 49 yards. Archie Kenworthy led the squad with 5 grabs for 47 yards and Jones added 4 for 43 and a score.

Carson Palmer lit us up going 22/28 for 322 and 4 scores with 1 pick. Jonathan Dwyer ran 26 times for 78 yards. Larry Fitzgerald caught all 8 of his targets for 143 yards and 3 TDs and John Brown added 2 for 30 and a score.

Carlos Rogers, our nickle corner, led the team with 9 tackles and Charles woodson had a pick while Justin Tuck added 2 sacks and 2 knockdowns.

Week 8 we are 9 point underdogs traveling to face a 2-4 cleveland squad. They are tough though, led by rookie QB Johnny Manziel, 32/56, and 2 offensive lineman and 1 defensive over 80 overall.

Rod Streater was upgraded to Questionable and will play in a limited role this week. LS Jon Condo with a sprained ankle with be probable for 2 weeks. Bernie Cullors is on his last week as probable and Marcel reece has 2 weeks left.

Cleveland controlled this game scoring a rushing TD in each of the first 3 quarters while we were held to a late FG in a 21-3 loss.

Derek Carr was erratic going 12/29 for 139 yards and being sacked 5 times. MJD ran 10 times for 23 yards but Marcel Reece was able to break a couple runs toting the rock 4 times for 44 yards. James Jones led the way with just 4 grabs on 11 targets for 52 yards.

Manziel went 16/29 for 176 yards and ran 5 times for 47 yards and a score. Ben Tate ran 20 times for 130 yards and Isaiah Crowell add 62 on 11 carries and 2 scores. Jordan Cameron was their top pass catcher with 6 grabs on 12 tries and 56 yards.

Tyvon Branch had 10 tackles and Sio Moore had 9 While Justin Tuck and DJ Hayden each had a sack.

In week 9 we have to travel to play the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. They are an 8 point favorite led by QB Russell Wilson, 52/79, RB Marshawn Lynch, 78, and the Legion Of Boom led by Richard Sherman, 83, and Earl Thomas, 70.

We are pretty healthy though. Rod Streater is still questionable and will still have his role limited being 2 weeks from full strength. Marcel Reece also has 2 weeks left and Jon Condo has 1.

After those 2 close games to start the season we are falling apart this time getting beaten 20-3 by the Seahawks as we gained just 178 yards of offense and 9 first downs including 1 by penalty.

Derek Carr struggled against the Legion Of Boom going 16/30 for 154 yards and a pick 6. MJD was beaten down running 15 times for just 26 yards. Archie Kenworthy was again one of our top offensive players with 4 grabs for 61 yards.

Russell Wilson went 16/28 for 170 yards and a TD and a pick but their running game dominated. Marshawn Lynch ran 31 times for 166 yards with 5 over 10 yards and Robert Turbin racked up 62 on 10 carries. Luke Wilson caught 3 passes for 70 yards.

Justin Tuck had 11 tackles while Khalil Mack added 9 with a pick. Lamar Woodley and Miles Burris each had a sack.

In week 10 we face last year's superbowl runners up in a division contest. Denver is projected just an 8 point favorite but between our recent struggles and Payton Manning, 78, and Demaryius Thoman, 70, I doubt this will be that close.

Marcel Reece tore his Lateral Knee Ligament and was placed on IR. Luke Subramanian, 21/40, was signed in his place to start at FB. 3 guys are probable with 1 week until healthy. Jon Condo, our LS with a sprained ankle, WR Rod Streater with a broken foot, and QB Derek Carr with an Elbow Contusion.

Denver starts it off with a pair of Wes Welker TD grabs to just a FG by us but then Rod Streater brings us back into it with a 97 yard kick return. They seperate a bit before the half going up 7 on a 26 yard FG. On the opening drive of the 2nd half though, Charles Woodson picks up a fumble and scores from 46 yards out to tie the game. TDs are then exchanged, one on a manning to caldwell pass and one on a Carr to MJD pass. They take a 4th quarter lead on a FG but then we get one from 21 yards as time expires. Overtime is back and forth until with just 28 seconds left they finally seal it with another FG kick winning 30-27.

This was a very close game despite them out gaining us 613 to 290 and running 99 plays to our 66. It was largely our 3 forced turnovers that made it a game.

Derek Carr went 17/29 for 150 yards and a TD While MJD ran 23 times for 92 yards and caught 2 passes for 22 yards and a score. James Jones had just 5 grabs on 11 tries but led the team with 56 yards.

Peyton Manning went 46/66 for 484 yards with 3 TDs and 2 picks and led the team with 54 yards on carries. Montee Ball ran 12 times for 44 yards. Wes Welker caught 11 passes for 128 yards and 2 scores. Andre Caldwell was the most targeted seeing 20 tries making 11 grabs for 107 and a score and Demaryius Thomas added 7 for 103.

Our defense made plays to keep us in it as Sio Moore racked up 15 tackles and Khalil Mack had 14 and a sack. Charles woodson had 12 tackles, a pick, and a fumble recovery for a score while Tyvon Branch had 13 tackles and a pick.

Week 11 we will face San Diego for the 2nd time and they have bounced back from a weak start and are now 4-5 and a 7 point favorite. Meanwhile we are 1 of 4 1 win teams, 2 in our division.

Leonardo Unverzagt, our 3rd back, pulled his groin and is questionable for 2 weeks. C Stefen Wisniewski sprained his ankle and is probable 2 weeks and FB Luke Subramanian strained a quad and is probable 3 weeks.

Also, now that we are into the second half of the season I am going to get some contracts done. Punter Marquette King was signed to a 4 year deal making him 9.8 million dollars. As one of the best punters in the league he is worth that.

4 year center Stefen Wisniewski is our one good lineman so we went ahead and gave him 12.2 million over 3 years including 2.2 guaranteed.

Miles Burris, our starting MLB, is in his 3rd year and we gave him 4 million over the next 3 years including half a million guaranteed.

The notables remaining unsigned are Rod Streater, a starting WR 42/54 overall he has not preformed so far this year with just 216 yards. He has been solid as a return man but is requesting a 15 million dollar deal. Charles Woodson is too old and Tarell Brown is aging as well in our number 2 corner spot. Slot receiver Denarius Moore, 36/39, is also asking more than he is worth.

Week 12 we finally get to face the other 1 win team from our division, Kansas City, in our house but they are a 1 point favorite. Linebackers Justin Houston, 83, and Derrick Johnson, 81, make their defense one to watch out for.

One week after signing an extension Stefen Wisniewski hurts his ankle again and requires surgery. He went on IR and C Edgar Blassingame, 10/31, was signed to backup Kevin Boothe who will now start. Leonardo Unverzagt as 1 weak left and Luke Subramanian as 2. Both are probable.

Facing a fellow 1 win team we had great hope when DJ Hayden returned a pick 23 yards for a score just 29 seconds in. When, 5 minutes later, we added a 56 yard FG all was good. They did get a TD to close the gap but Carr hit Denarius Moore for a 20 yard score of our own with 2:52 left in the half to push the lead back to 10. In those last minutes though Jamaal Charles broke a 73 yard run and then they got a stop and a FG to tie the score. The 3rd quarter was slow until Donnie Avery game them the lead on a 3 yard catch. We jumped out in the 4th with a FG and then a 2 yard DMC run and it looked like we may hold on until their last drive. Set up for a FG to tie facing a 3rd and goal from the 12 they ran a draw and Charles made it into the endzone to put it away 31-27.

Carr went 18/27 for 194 and a score. MJD gained just 31 yards on 14 carries but DMC added 21 on 7 and a TD. Rod Streater caught 7 balls for 88 yards and Moore added 2 for 45 and a score.

Alex Smith went 25/45 for 193 with 2 TDs and a pick. Charles was their offense though running 20 times for 174 yards and 2 scores and catching 3 passes for 46 yards. Dwayne Bowe caught 5 for 51 and a score and Avery added 4 for 25 and a score.

Khalil Mack racked up 11 tackles and Hayden had a pick but we did not record a sack.

In week 13 3-8 St Louis is a 6 point favorite as we visit them. They have a great defensive line but their QB, Sam Bradford, 28/36, is a weak point.

We made it through the week with little to report in the way of injuries. Subramanian has 1 week left and starting LT Donald Penn broke his finger. He is probable for 2 weeks.

As has became typical we were dominated, this time 28-13.

Derek Carr went 14/26 for 179 with a TD and 2 picks. MJD ran 23 times for 67 yards. Denarius Moore caught 3 passes for 117 yards including a 98 yard score.

Again we are beaten by multiple scores, this time 17-6.

Derek Carr went 12/26 for 126 yards. MJD managed just 28 yards on 18 carries. James Jones did rack up 75 yards on 4 grabs.

Week 15 we are now a 4 point underdog to the chiefs.

Jacob Lieberman, while on IR, has started recovering and is listed as doubtful. Charles Woodson broke his nose and is probable 2 weeks. Reginald Hawkins sprained his ankle and is probable 1 week.

We played the chiefs close again with James Jones scoring first. They owned the 2nd quarter as both Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce caught TD passes and in the 4th we each added a FG as they won 17-10.

Derek Carr went 21/36 for 238 yards and a score. MJD gained just 21 yards on 13 carries, we realy need a line. Rod Streater caught 6 passes for 91 yards and James jones added 4 for 8 and a TD.

Alex Smith was 16/29 for 202 with 2 scores and a pick. Charles ran 25 times or 85 yards and caught 4 passes for 22 and a score. Travis Kelce caught 4 for 118 and a score.

Week 16 we are hosting the Bills who at 8-6 are an 11 point favorite. With 2 of the top DTs in the league, Kyle Williams, 91, and Marcell Dareus, 89, they could be a tough squad.

The injury report is quick this week, just Charles Woodson, probable 1 week.

We jumped to a quick lead with a FG but them they scored 2 TDs in a row to take control. Each team added a FG to that to make it 17-6 at the half. We did come back with 3 straight FGs but they added another late to win 20-15.

Derek Carr went 18/31 for 236 and a pick. MJD ran 21 times for 41 yards. Rod Streater gained 62 yards on just 3 grabs on 9 targets.

Kyle Orton went 18/24 for 154 and a TD. CJ Spiller ran 27 times for 110 yards and a score. Sammie Watkins caught 5 balls for 45 yards and a TD.

Week 17 we wrap up the season in Denver facing an 11 point favorite.

Menelik Watson is probable with a broken hand and Mychal Rivera is probable with a deep thigh bruise.

Even with Manning sitting this late season game they jumped out to a 13-0 lead. We did get a FG to cut it to 13-3 before the half and another right after the half. They responded with a Montee Ball TD run to push it to 2 scores but in the 4th we added a pair of FGs to cut it to 8 and then with 3:2 left Carr found Andre Holmes for a 29 yard score. We got the stop and Carr hit James Jones for a 63 yard game winner with 29 seconds left.

Carr went 24/39 for 329 and 2 scores. MJD ran 19 times for 66 yards. James Jones caught 2 passes for 108 and a TD and Holmes added 1 for 29 and a score.

Staff Draft:
We are in the 30th spot so this will be tough for us. In the head coach draft noone made a change ahead of us and I made the first change going with 50 year old OLine specialist Gregory Osiecki who is very strong in player development, scouting, discipline, and play calling.

On the offensive side of the ball we upgraded to Herman Rivera, another 50 year old coach who is great at scouting, interviewing, intelligence, and young talent.

At DC we took a little lower end guy, 1 point lower than our current for suitable, to get a guy great at scouting, interviewing, and intelligence.

As an assistant we went with Scottie Henson, a 43 year old OLine coach great with young talent and playcalling.

We retained Denzel Ledford as our strength coordinator as he was the most suitable by a long ways.

We enter free agency with 54 million dollars to spend and aside from a couple UDFAs no one to resign.

We makes offers to a short list of guys who we feel could fill in if we cannot improve each position through the draft.

Lance Kendricks: At 42/45 he is the 5th TE on the board and asking about a 3rd of what the 4 in front of him are but his 81 route running and 54/63 3rd down catching would give us a huge upgrade. Our initial offer is 3.5 over 2 years.

Brandon Gibson: We offered him 6 million over 2 years. He is just a 47 overall but with 78 big play receiving he is a guy we could get a few touches to and have him work well.

Orlando Franklin: at 40/42 he is not a great guard but would be our 2nd best lineman. We offered him 5.5 over 3 years as a placeholder.

Brandon Brooks: a 4th year guard from the Texans, at 45/48 overall we offered him 7 million over 4 years.

Gabe Carimi: A RT from Atlanta at 43/47 would be a starter. We offered him 5.8 over 3 years.

Terrell McClain: a 5th year DT, 43 overall, we offered him 3 million over 2 years.

Mason Foster: rated 65 he seems like a bargain for a 5th year MLB at 5.5 over 3 years.

Chris Culliver: At 44 overall he is a good man cover corner who is asking 6.7 over 3 years. He could be a solid number 2 corner.

Tavon Wilson: at 38/42 he is far from a great FS but for 4.3 million over 3 years he could be a bargain.

Looking at the draft, and looking to pick 1:1 the biggest thing I notice is other than a QB there is noone worth the 1:1 spot. We are going to have to trade down I would imagine and despite Ezra Gutierrez looking to me like a borderline pick there I am sure I should draw some interest for a top pick and a shot at a QB, especially in a draft where there isnt much of a 2nd QB. The other top prospect is a DT who has an adjusted rating of 8.1 and 4 red combines and a blue and is 52% developed.

I trade the top spot to New Orleans for the 6th, their 3rd round spot, their 4th round spot, and a future 1st.

They take the DT. Kansas City takes the QB. Atlanta, Philly, and St Louis all take defenders who I had marked as not good enough to go there.

I then took the top player on my board, OT from Oklahoma State standing 6'8" 332 lbs with a red dash and blue elsewhere and great bars, Vince Binkow. He is initially listed at 40/84.

I then watch closely as the 5th WR on the board looks like a steal. Once there is a run on them and the guy 2 spots above him is taken I offer Dallas my 2nd and 3rd for the 26th overall and their 4th to move up for Bobby Thorton, a 6'1" 203 pound WR from colorado who skipped the combine and originally looks like a 45/77.

When my 3rd round pick roles around at 3:6 I see 3 guys equally worth the pick so I drop back a bit and take minnesota's pick here and in the 5th for my 3rd.

At 3:13 I then take CB Neal Reynolds a 16/38 corner.

I then take my 4th round pick and move back into the 3rd trading 7ths as well with new england and take FB Julio Pace, a mid tennessee state kid rated 40/71.

At 4:7 we take K Winfred Glenn, rated 25/52 in case our kicker retires.

Later in the 4th we take rb Liam Dunsmore, 35/44, to replace DMC

To start the 5th we take Kris Oberheu, 20/45, a 6'5" 335 lb DT.

In the mid 5th we take DE Hunter Middleton, 27/50.

We start the 6th with S Frank Shepardson, 20/43.

In the 7th we take Dwayne Emmons, a corner who bumps to 16/42 when moved to safety.

Entering the regular season I am going to go over the roster again to update all the changes. This will make it much shorter than the 7 man roster I did going into last year since it is the final 53.

QB: Derek Carr, 34/56, should be better this year and still brings great accuracy, 45/77, and is great at reading defenses, 50/88 and throwing mid range, 47/84. He does miss some screens though, 16/26 and his timing is weak, 4/6. He is also one of four raiders currently on the green page and sits 2 spots above the QB we were looking at at 1:1. Blake Bortles is still the stud of last year's class.

Matt McGloin, 17/27, and Matt Schaub, 22, will back up the spot.

RB: This spot looks much different this year led by 4th round pick Liam Dunsmore, 39/46. He is an elusive,74/84, runner who knows how to find the hole, 57/66. UDFA Bruce Gunn, 41/47, is his backup and a very good pass catching back. UDFA Bryce Alston, 25/32 is also on the roster.

FB: Marcel Reece, 54, still has one good season in him with very reliable hands, 70 avoid drop, and solid skills across the board. Julio Pace, 31/46, was expected to be very good but dropped off in camp. He is a tough inside runner, 77 power, though.

TE: FA Lance Kendricks, 45, will start here and be a huge upgrade. He is a great route runner, 88, even if he struggles getting downfield, 8. Mychal Rivera, 29, will be the backup after starting last year. UDFA Kelly Brennan, 15/31, will be the 3rd string guy.

WR: James Jones, 58, still looks like the top guy with big play ability, 86, and the ability to adjust to throws, 84. Opposite him late 1st round pick Bobby Thornton 50/74, could be a long term starter with great big play ability, 100, and courage to attack the middle, 67/81. He is another of our 4 green pagers.

Brandon Gibson, 47, will play the slot and is another big play guy, 79. Rod Streater, 49, is back this year as well offering another big play threat, 86. UDFA Donald Perkins, 21/32, is a last resort.

C: Stefen Wisniewski, 57/69 is coming off of an ankle injury but is a very good run blocker, 56/75. UDFA Thomas Cauthen, 15/40, is the backup.

LG: Orlando Franklin, 45, should be a solid starter but will miss the first few games. Gabe Jackson, 27/34, will fill in for him and is a solid pass blocker, 54/75, but cannot run block, 2/4.

RG: Brandon Brooks. 36, comes over looking to be a solid placeholder. UDFA Seth Henson, 15/28 does not look like much of a contributer.

LT: Vince Binkow, 47/85, looks to prove us right for taking him. The second highest rated guy on the green page and the highest from this draft he is a great run blocker, 37/94. UDFA Evan Stram, 23/38, is a solid backup but hopefully we don't have to use him.

RT: Donald Penn, 37, will kick over from LT and fill this spot. Menelik Watson, 33, will back him up.

specialists: Marquette King, 70, is still one of the top punters in the league and K Sebastian Janikowski, 72, stuck around as a top kicker.

LE: Hunter Middleton, 33/55 a 5th rounder, is our other green page guy and a well rounded end. Lamarr Woodley, 38, is a solid backup.

RE: Justin Tuck, 60, is still a good finesse rusher, 74. UDFA Lionel Grier, 27/51, has potential as a backup all around pass rusher, 18/57 technique, 50 strength.

LDT: Terrell McClain, 47, is a solid technique rusher, 57. UDFA Lamar Yarbrough, 27/40, and 2nd year man Justin Ellis, 37/41, will fight for playing time.

RDT: Antonio Smith, 38, is a great technique rusher, 82 but struggles against the run, 13. Backup Kris Oberheu, 23/38, was a 5th round pick this year.

MLB: Miles Burris, 38/42, will start again this year and is a well rounded backer. Nick Roach, 18, is his backup.

SLB: Khalil Mack, 71/76, looks like a great LB and an elite run defender, 92/96. UDFA Ron Westbrook, 16/32, will back him up.

WLB: Sio Moore, 56, is a very well rounded backer who can do it all. UDFA Abel Flannery, 20/34, is not much of a backup.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 62, is great at making picks, 96, but cannot cover man to man, 18. Keith McGill, 42/49, a 4th rounder last year will fill in the nickle spot. Bernie Cullors, 31/37 won't play much.

RCB: Chris Culliver, 45, is a good man defender, 76. He struggles in press though, 8. Gustavo Welch, 11/33, is a UDFA.

SS: Tyvon Branch, 37, is out week 1 with a concussion but should become the starter. 6th round pick Frank Shepardson, 23/42 is a solid backup.

FS: Free Agent Tavon Wilson, 42/44, is great in zone defense, 74/79, and making picks, 82/83. Mr Irrelevant this year, Dwayne Emmons, 22/43, will be a solid backup with a knack for picks, 71/90.

LS: Jon Condo, 15, is a solid snapper, 69.

Facing San Diego week 1 we are 3 point underdogs. Philip Rivers, 70, will keep them being very good for a long time.

Orlando Franklin, out 4 weeks with a broken ankle, and Tyvon Branch, doubtful and inactive this week with a concussion are our only injuries.

Despite being the underdog we get the first 2 scores on FGs in the first. They finally get a kick in the 2nd and then start the 3rd off right as rivers hits Wes Welker for a score. We come back quick though and Carr hits Brandon Gibson for a 29 yard strike. In the 4 we add a little distance with a 52 yard FG to win 16-10.

Carr went 23/34 for 249 with a TD and 2 picks. Gunn ran 10 times for 43 yards. James Jones caught 5 passes for 80 yards and Brandon Gibson added 3 for 55 and a score.

We enter week 2 an 11 point underdog going to Detroit. Detrout managed to keep Ndamukong Suh, 78, and paired with nick Fairley, 81, and Ezekiel Ansah, 72, they make a great line. On the other side Calvin Johnson, 83, looks like a beast.

G Brandon Brooks joins the injury report with a strained back keeping him out up to 5 weeks. Orlando Franklin is still out as well looking at 3 more weeks and starting FS Tavon Wilson is questionable with a sprained knee.

Detroit starts it off quick as Stafford hits DeVier Posey and Eric Ebron for TDs in the first and Jed Collins and Ebron again in the second to take a 28-3 lead. Dunsmore runs in a score and Perkins scores on a 4 yard pass from McGloin late but we still lose solidly 31-17.

Carr went 10/20 for 102 yards and a pick while McGloin went 13/18 for 179 and a score but lost a fumble. Liam Dunsmore ran 8 times for 24 yards and a score while Bruce Gunn gained 50 on 5 tries. Bobby Thornton caught passes for 60 yards.

Matt Stafford went 33/42 for 322 and 4 scores. Carl Devine ran 22 times for 81 yards and Eric Ebron caught 7 passes for 90 yards and 2 scores.

Week 3 we are facing Andrew Luck, 54/70, and the 1-1 colts. They are favored by 1 point here in oakland.

Brandon Brooks has 4 weeks left and is still out. Orlando Franklin was upgraded to questionable with 2 weeks left and Tavon Wilson is still questionable with 2 weeks left. TE Lance Kendricks sprained his thumb and is probable for 2 weeks and RT Donald Penn bruised his heel and is probable for 2 weeks.

The first quarter was a kicking contest and we came out up 6-3. In the 2nd Bruce Gunn broke a 23 yard run but the Andrew Luck answered with a 33 yard run of his own. Indy then tied it with a FG, we answered with another and they matched it again leaving it 16-16 at the half.

They opened the 3rd quarter with another FG but then Carr took over leading a long drive ending with Marcel Reece catching a 1 yard pass for a score. He then added a 45 yard strike to Bobby Thorton to push the lead to 11. TY Hilton broke loose on a 52 yard score after that and the 2 point try brought them to within 3, 30-27, but as they were making their game winning drive attempt Tavon Wilson came up with the pick and took it to the house and we won 37-27.

Derek Carr went 16/19 for 229 yards and 2 scores. Liam Dunsmore ran 18 times for 77 yards and Bruce Gunn added 14 for 73 and a TD. Bobby Thornton caught 3 passes for 70 yards and a TD and Marcel Reece added 5 for 52 and a score.

Week 4 we are traveling to Cincinatti as a 1 point favorite against the Bengals led by DT Geno Atkins, 79, and OLB Vontaze Burfict, 72.

Brandon Brooks looks to be out 3 more weeks. Orlando Franklin, Tavon Wilson, Donald Penn, and Lance Kendricks are all probable with 1 week left. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski broke his toe and will be questionable for 3 weeks.

Janikowski's injury does not slow him down though as the first 6 scores of the game are FGs and 4 are his. In the 4th quarter, with us up 12-6, Giovani Bernard looked to take it over scoring on a 5 yard run but Sebastian had one more kick in him and we won at the last second 15-13.

Carr went 19/31 for 229 yards. Liam Dunsmore ran 14 times for 103 yards. James Jones caught 4 passes for 95 yards. The key to our offense though was Janikowski making 5 of 7 field goals winning player of the game. His 2 misses were from 57 yards out.

Andy Dalton went 21/33 for 168 yards and 2 picks. Giovani Bernard ran 20 times for 64 yards and a score. AJ Green caught 7 passes for 81 yards.

Brandon Brooks was upgraded to questionable and will now start at RG. Antonio Smith strained a foot ligament and is out 4 weeks. Janikowski is probable with his broken toe and expected to be that way 2 weeks

Bruce Gunn starts off the fun with a yard score and after Baltimore gets their 2nd straight FG with 46 seconds left in the first the next play sees Liam Dunsmore break an 80 yard run. Baltimore adds another kick but Dunsmore adds to the halftime lead with an 18 yard score pushing it to 21-9. a pair of 3rd quarter FGs pushes our lead to 18 and even though Steve Smith scores 4th quarter TD and they add 2 points and a FG we still win 27-20.

Week 6 we are a 9 point favorite traveling to face a 1-3 cleveland squad. even with Manziel, 51/64, becoming a very good QB and 2 offensive linemen over 80 and phil taylor, 88, and Joe Haden, 81, on defense they have struggled to match the kind of improvement we have made going 4-1 so far this year.

Injuries have hit us hard now though. Brandon Brooks reinjured his back and will be out up to 5 weeks but even worse 1st round pick Bobby Thornton, a starting WR, separated his shoulder and could miss up to 6 weeks. RT Donald Penn bruised his thigh and will be probable 2 weeks and Janikowski still has 1 week as probable.

After we scored on a Carr to Streater 3 yard pass on the first drive the game turned all Cleveland and they put up 27 straight to win.

Week 7 we have to travel again, this time to Kansas City where we are a 3 point favorite over a 2-3 squad. Without Derrick Johnson their defense keys around Justin Houston, 88, and Eric Berry, 82. Rookie QB Ezra Gutierrez is the first first round QB they have had in a long time here and has had some bumps along the way but should be worth the pick.

Brooks and Thornton, are still out for 5 weeks each. Antonio Smith is out for 3 weeks. Donald Penn is still probable this week.

We have not been the same since thornton came out ut we started off good with Lance Kendricks scoring our first TD from the TE position since I started. They answered with a 79 yard pass to Travis Kelce and then added to it when Grady Haddix caught a 7 yard strike. James Jones, with 2 minutes left in the half, tied it up with a grab from 18 yards out. We left too much time on the clock though and Michael Crabtree was able to score on an 11 yard catch just 30 seconds later.

We started off the 3rd cutting the lead to 4 with a FG but Josh Bellamy caught an 11 yard score to push it to 28-17 and then Matt Prater added a FG. With 6 minutes left we cut into it with a FG and then Carr hit Streater from 22 out with 54 seconds left and we did get the 2. We could not get the onside kick though and lost 31-28.

Carr went 25/34 for 306 and 3 TDs. Streater caught 7 passes for 119 yards and a score and Jones added 5 for 94 and a score. Bruce Gun ran 7 times for 46 yards but Liam Dunsmore was held to 37 on 18 tries.

Week 8 we are finally back home facing Pittsburgh as a 5 point favorite. We have struggled without Thornton though so who knows. Pitt is 3-3 behind great play from WR Antonio Brown, 83, and thanks to a running game improved with the addition of guard Mike Upati, 85.

Bobby Thornton and Brandon Brooks are still out another 4 weeks. FS Tavon Wilson is added to that group out 3 with a strained calf. Antonio Smith was upgraded to probable for the next 2 weeks.

We bounce back taking control of a game like we have not been able to rushing out to a quick 28-3 lead and holding on to win 35-12.

Derek Carr was a model of efficiency going 14/17 for 217 yards and 2 TDs. Bruce Gun ran 21 times for 86 yards and 2 scores while Liam Dunsmore ran 12 times for 66 yards and a TD. Rod Streater caught 3 passes for 71 yards and a score while Lance Kendricks added 2 for 14 and a TD.

Big Ben went 30/43 for 353 and a pick. Leveon Bell ran 12 times for 58 yards but 42 came on 1 carry. Antonio Brown lit it up with 9 grabs for 150 yards but as a team they just couldnt finish.

Week 9 we are hosting San Diego who we already beat on the road and who is currently 1-6. We are an 8 point favorite in this one.

A week before the bye week we are starting to get a little healthier. Brandon Brooks is still out 3 weeks and Tavon Wilson 2 but Bobby Thorton was upgraded to questionable for the next 3 and will play a limited role in this one. Antonio Smith still has 1 probable week left and Marcel Reece has knee tendinitis and is probable this week.

We started the game off right as on the first drive Sio Moore returned a pick 92 yards for a score. When they responded with a FG we engineered a long drive ending in Lance Kendricks catching a 4 yard TD. He has became a real weapon for us at TE compared to what we had last year. After that early 2nd quarter score the game stopped until each team added a FG in the last couple minutes and we won 17-6.

Derek Carr went 12/18 for 121 yards and a TD. Liam Dunsmore ran 16 times for 45 yards James Jones caught 3 passes for 54 yards and in his return Thorton was only targeted once and didnt make a catch.

a week 10 bye allowed us to get healthy to face Denver in Denver in week 11. We are a 4 point favorite going against this 3-6 post manning squad led now by QB Brock Osweiler who we beat last year.

Our injury report is just 4 probables. Bobby Thornton for 2 weeks and Rod Streater, Bruce Gunn, and Brandon Brooks for 1 week. All will see near full playing time.

The first quarter is quite until denver scores near the end on a Lawrence Timmons 4 yard fumble return. We start the 2nd with a 15 yard score by Bruce Gunn but they answer right away with a Montee Ball TD. We get a FG with 3 minutes left to cut the lead to 14-10 but they end the half strong scoring a TD on a pass to Cody Latimer with 2 minutes left and the getting a FG as time expired to go up 24-10.

They then get a FG to open the 2nd half pushing the lead to 3 scores but we answer quickly with another FG. In the 4th quarter Carr takes pver leading 2 long drives ending with short TD strikes, one to Brandon Gibson, one to Brude Gunn. With the score tied and time running out he the sets us up for a game winning 51 yard FG which we made to win 30-27.

Carr went 24/32 for 219 yards with 2 TDs and a pick and also lost a fumble. Liam Dunsmore was good going 14 carries for 94 yards but Bruce Gunn was great running 12 times for 130 yards and a TD and adding a 5 yard TD catch. Bobby Thornton caught 6 balls for 76 yards and Brandon Gibson added 6 for 67 and a TD.

Brock Osweiler went 22/43 for 244 yards with a TD and a pick. Montee Ball ran 16 times for 101 yards and a TD and caught 3 passes for 70 yards.

Week 12 we are finally an underdog again, this time by 7 points hosting an 8-2 Minnesota team led by SS Harrison Smith, 72, and CB Xavier Rhodes, 70.

Just when it seemed we would get healthy James Jones broke his clavicle and will miss up to 7 weeks. Lance Kendricks is also out 3 weeks with a hyperextended elbow. Terrell McClain is doubtful 2 weeks with a hyperextended knee. Milers Burris is probable 4 weeks with a strained rotator cuff and Brandon Gibson is probable this week with a bad cold.

Despite being banged up we jumped out to a quick lead scoring the first 17 points as carr put us on his back leading us to a FG scoring drive then finishing one hitting Bobby Thornton on a 4 yard throw and another taking it himself for a 7 yard score. Bridgewater then hit Jenning for a score but we added another kick to end the half up 20-7 Both teams added 3 in the 3rd and 3 early in the 4th to push it to 27-13. Cordarrelle Patterson narrowed it to 6 with a late TD catch but they couldnt get the onside kick and we ran it out to win 26-20 and guarantee we wont have a losing season.

After 6 punts in the 1st quarter, 3 by each team, buffalo started out the 2nd with Marquise Goodwin catching a 31 yard TD pass. They then added a FG to push the lead to 10 but we closed the half with Carr hitting Streater for a 22 yard score and opened the 3rd with a FG to tie. Bryce Brown answered with a 5 yard scoring catch but we owned the 4th with a FG, a lance Kendricks TD grab to take the lead with 44 seconds left and then up 20-17 capped it off with a Dwayne Emmons pick 6 to end their chances and win 27-17.

They are currently 7-5 in a 3 way tie for 2nd place in their division with a 1-3 division record and could miss the playoffs. We, on the other hand, could seal a playoff spot this week if we win or if Denver loses at Minnesota.

James Jones is still out and 5 weeks from healed. Keith McGill is doubtful and I am holding him out. He is 4 weeks to full strength. Miles Burris is probable 2 weeks and Lance Kendricks is probable for 1.

After they start the game with a FG on the opening drive Bruce Gunn takes control as we score 27 straight points and he catches 2 TD passes and runs for a TD. Randall Cobb does catch a late TD from backup QB Leroy Taylor and we add a late FG and we win 30-11.

Year 3 roster analysis: Entering year 3 we have to be considered a true contender with an improving roster and coming off of a 10 win regular season where we fought our way to the conference championship game.

QB: Derek Carr, 49/56, is currently the 16th best QB in the league, right in the middle of the pack. He is great at reading defenses, 78/90, and hitting mid range passes, 70/81.

4th round pick Charles Wiegmann, 22/49, will be our number 2 QB and is best throwing screens, 26/70 and mid range passes, 26/70. He struggles with timing, 0/1. UDFA Derek Thomas, 8/54, is a real project but could be a solid qb who is great on 3rd down, 50/72, but cannot sense pressure, 0.

RB: Liam Dunsmore, 44/46, es a very elusive runner, 82, who is not great breaking big runs, 26 or catching passes. Bruce Gunn is a solid number 2 back who adds a pass catching dimension to the game. Late FA signing Devon Huffman, 34/41 only got 7 carries for minnesota last year but is a solid 3rd down runner, 62/73.

FB: Mackenzie Kemock, 36/53, is already the 19th best fullback in the league and has the 7th highest potential of any fullback.

TE: the 29th pick of the 6th round Carlos Thompson, 40/74, has the potential to be one of the top pass catching TEs in the league with huge big play ability 90, and great ability to avoid drops, 26/94. Lance Kendricks, 46, revitalized our TE spot last year and is the 19th best TE in the league. With the two of them expect a lot of 2 TE sets. Mychal Rivera, 28, has seen his role reduced each year and wont get much playing time this year.

WR: Bobby Thorton, 60/74 is a huge big play threat, 98, as well as a great all around WR. He has the 4th highest potential of any WR in the league. Rod Streater, 49, will again be a starter, taking over for James Jones, 47, who will move to the slot. Brandon Gibson, 44, is going to see some passes as the 4th guy. UDFA Kody Briley, 20/30 won't see much playing time.

C: Stefen Wisniewski, 68/69, is just in his 6th year and is still a very good lineman but is now being challenged by 2nd round rookie Graham Moore, 42/73, who has the potential to pass up Wisniewski in his spot as the 6th best C in the league.

LG: The raiders first pick this year went to LG Raul Webster, 40/67. He is a very strong blocker, 80, and has the 7th highest potential of any guard in the league. Orlando Franklin, 45, was solid last year but was too often hurt.

RG: Brandon Mosley, 48, gives this team a solid, though not great, interior lineman. Lamont Whalen, 25/43, has backup potential as a UDFA

LT: Vince Binkow, 66/77, is already one of the top 15 tackles in the league and should move up even higher Evan Stram, 23/38 will back him up.

RT: Menelik Watson, 32, will take back the RT spot. Zane Hevey, 19/33 will back him up.

P: Marquette King, 70, is the 10th best punter in the league.

K: UDFA Lamar Ficken, 32/53, takes over for a great kicker in sebastian Janikowski.

LE: Free Agent Olivier Vernon, 51/57 is a great finesse rusher, 72/79. Hunter Middleton, 46/54, was last year's starter and is a well rounded backup.

RE: Jacob Keith, 36/64, looks like a great 2nd round pick and a great technique rusher, 31/85. Lionel Greer, 35/50, looks like a good backup.

LDT: Terrell McClain, 45, will once again miss time starting the season with a broken fibula. Justin Ellis, 40, will fill in for the time being while Lamar Yarbrough, 33/42 will again be a backup.

RDT: Free Agent Jimmy Staten, 48, looks decent here. Backup Kris Oberheu, 27/38 wont play much.

MLB: Free agent Perry Riley, 57, was this regime's top free agent signing to date garnering a 19 million dollar deal. He is a great run defende, 77. Miles Burris, 42, will move down to a backup role.

SLB: Khalil Mack, 73 is the 5th best OLB in the league. Rookie Jared Bernard, 20/39, is decent.

WLB: Sio Moore, 55, is still a very capable OLB. Frederick Ramirez, 14/28, should not play much.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 62 is a very good corner. Keith McGill, 51, is a great nickle guy. Bernie Cullors, 36/38 will be a backup.

RCB: Chris Culliver, 45, was one of the most successful free agents on this team last year. Dalton Kramer, 36/38 wont play much.

SS: Frank Shepardson, 38 looks solid. Tyvon Branch, 31, is on the downhill slide.

FS: Tavon Wilson, 50, was great last year. Jeremiah Towle, 41, will get some playing time. Dwayne Emmons, 34/40, was a big time playmaker last year.

LS: Jon Condo, 15, is the oldest player on the team.

We added a field goal to start the 2nd to take the lead but the ravens then answered capping a drive with a Lorenzo Taliaferro run. They then got a FG right before and then right after halftime and 12 seconds after their 3rd quarter FG they pushed the lead to 27-10 with a Dean Coleman pick 6. Our offense took the field down 3 scores though and would not be denied as over the rest of the 3rd and the 4th we scored 28 straight point on 2 Liam Dunsmore runs, a Bruce Gunn run, and a 43 yard pass from Carr to Carlos Thompson and we won the game 38-27.

In week 5 we get a break from top end competition as we are an 11 point favorite hosting Houston who is currently 0-4. Only drafting 1 starter, 3rd round TE Billy Jackson, 37/52, in the last 2 years has brought this team down a notch.

Carlos Thompson, Rod Streater, and DJ Hayden are all questionable 2 weeks. Derek Carr is probable 2 weeks. Bobby Thornton, Jacob Keith, and Justin Ellis are all probable 1 week.

Carr answered hitting Rod Streater for a score to end the half but houston came out in the 2nd half with a long drive ending in a TD throw to DeAndre Hopkins. We failed to gain a bye week and will face Kansas City, who we beat twice.

Dallas travels to Seattle where the seahawks win 40-17

Tennessee made it in at 8-8 and is a 1 point favorite over an 11 win jets team. The Jets win 21-10 though.

Dalton Kramer is out 7 weeks. Khalil Mack has been upgraded to doubtful 5 weeks and will sit one more. Sio Moore is questionable 4 weeks with a sprained knee. Orlando Franklin, Vince Binkow, and Lamont Talley are all probable 1 week.

Bruce Gunn starts it of early with a 23 yard TD run. Knile Davis answers right back taking a screen 11 yards for a score and after a Carr fumble Michael Crabtree gains all 2 yards on KCs 2nd drive to score a TD. On the next play Carr threw a pick 6 to JJ Harden and the chiefs were up 21-7 but the first quarter scoring wasnt over. In fact the scoring in the 30 seconds of gameplay starting with the Carr fumble was not yet over as the next play from scrimmage saw him make up part of the 2 quick turnovers with an 80 yard TD to bobby Thornton. We added a FG in the first making it a 21-17 quarter. The second saw a drive capped with a Grady Haddix TD run and then saw Carr hit Thornton for another TD.

We added a pair of FGs in the 3rd but Haddix added another TD run. An early 4th quarter FG by us made it 35-33, their lead. They pushed the lead up a bit with a 19 yard FG with 2 minutes left but Carr hit Carlos Thompson for a score with 45 seconds left and then hit him again on the 2 point conversion. We held them on downs after that and won the game 41-38.

Bruce Gunn started the 2nd half with a TD run but Robert Turbin answered with one of his own. We got a FG but Manziel hit Josh Gordon for a TD. Another FG by us and a long TD run by Turbin late made it a 49-34 win for the Browns.

Entering the 2017 draft our major needs are a #2 receiver, an impact defensive lineman, a #2 corner, and linebacker depth. The draft started off going heavy to the QBs with 4 going in the top 6 picks. 2 of them look like franchise guys but San Francisco was the big as the top player then dropped to them and they got TE Rick Benson who looks like a 46/85 to start.

By the time we drafted there were 7 qbs gone and we were staring at 3 guys we had 1st round grades on, all defensive ends. There was a clear favorite though, 6'4", 277 lb illinois state pass rusher Abel Durham. We jumped at the opportunity to land a 41/74 DE late in the 1st.

We then watch the WR board and when it looked like Jared Kocurek was in danger of getting picked, as being the 2nd guy on the board, we jumped up 2 spots swapping our 4th for dallas's 5th to do so and snagged him. as a 44/65 he should give us a new weapon across from Bobby Thornton.

Needing picks we traded our 3rd to washington for the 1st pick of the 4th and a 6th. Eventually we had to take the top available player, TE Sean Lyon, 41/67. We already have a budding star at the spot but he is just too good to pass up.

In the 5th we then took T Roy Herndon, 18/45 and 2 picks later added G Spencer Nussbaum, 21/53. They should add solid depth.

Early in the 6th we added RB Devin Floyd, 31/44, who will be a solid runner.

Later in the 6th we picked up SS Damon Peterson, 17/36.

In the 7th we took a shot in the dark at CB Percy Ackerman, 17/36

Entering late free agency Derek Carr wants a new deal and is asking for 72 million over 5 years. This is why we have this money, to pay our picks, so we do it.

Justin Ellis is also holding out but will be fighting for a spot in the rotation this year. He is not worth what he is asking.

Looking at the roster going into my 4th season this is the best team we have had yet.

QB: Derek Carr, 63, keeps getting better and looks like a franchise QB. His yards and TDs his completion percentage, and his TD to INT ratio have gone up every year and he had 2 300 yard games in the playoffs last year after just 3 in the regular season. He is the 6th highest rated QB in the league. Now with even more weapons he could be dangerous. Charles Wiegmann, 26/48, has as much upside as any backup QB in the league. Derek Thomas, 12/53, is an unknown and a project but could be a star someday. Interestingly with 7 QBs going in the 1st round only 3 made the green page.

HB: Running behind a young line Liam Dunsmore, 45, and Bruce Gunn, 45, had down years last year. This year should be better for the duo. 6th round pick Devin Floyd, 30/40, adds depth as a smart runner.

FB: Makenzie Kemock, 50/55, was a great lead blocker last year but will miss the first 8 games with broken ribs. We likely won't use nearly as much of the FB position early on. For the time being TE Vance McDonald will fill in.

TE: Carlos Thompson, 62/75, looks like the steal of last year's draft as a big play TE and the Raiders may have done it again. 4th rounder Sean Lyon, 44/61 is a great route runner who will fill the second TE spot for years to come. Vance McDonald, 50, is a solid 3rd option.

WR: This position looks different this year. Bobby Thornton, 65, is still a good weapon who knows how to make big plays. Opposite him, however, it is now rookie Jared Kocurek, 47/64. An undersized 3rd down weapon drafted 2nd round Jared looks to make his mark. Big play weapons Devin Street, 44, and Paul Richardson, 41, came in as free agents and will fight for slot time. Ed Chavarria, 30, will likely not play much.

C: Graham Moore, 62/72, looks like a great center to anchor this line. Branden Mosley, 49, will move over from guard to back him up after starting 16 games for this team last year.

LG: Raul Webster, 56/67, looks like a solid starter here for many years to come. UDFA Harvey Dominigo, 18/50 could be a good depth player.

RG: Free Agent Dallas Thomas, 53, was given a big deal to fill this spot. 5th round pick Spencer Nussbaum, 25/54, will be groomed as his eventual replacement.

LT: This regime's first pick, Vince Binkow, 76, is one of the top tackles in the league. Roy Herndon, 19/47 has upside as a backup.

RT: Greg Robinson, 50, is by far the best player we have had in this spot. UDFA Isaac Wynn, 18/42, could actually be better than anyone else we have had here in the past.

P: Marquette King, 70, is an above average punter who will hold this spot for as long as he wants it.

K: Lamar Ficken, 46/52, may not be a great kicker but his accuracy is good.

LDE: 26th overall pick Abel Durham, 46/78, is the top player on the green page and looks like a great end. Olivier Vernon, 56, is a great backup and Hunter Middleton, 51/56, could be the least properly utilized player in the league this year just because there is too much ahead of him.

RDE: Last year's 2nd rounder, Jacob Keith, 51/65, looks to have a breakout year as a pass rush specialist. Lionel Grier, 40/49, is biding his time here until he can take a bigger role elsewhere.

LDT: Nolan Randle, 42, comes in as a run stuffing free agent. Lamar Yarbrough, 37/42, is a former UDFA and solid rotational guy. Justin Ellis, 39, held out after leading the team in sacks last year but gave up seeing as he is just a situational rusher this year.

RDT: Jimmy Staten, 48, is our best DT. Georgia Tech UDFA Shannon Shreiber, 30/44, will be a solid player as well.

MLB: Perry Riley, 53, missed several games last year but looks to bounce back. Dakota Saban, 45, is undersized but will be a solid backup.

SLB: Khalil Mack, 72, is the leader of this defense but missed 7 games plus one in the playoffs last year. Jared Bernard, 28/39, is a capable backup for short stints but isnt good enough to fill in all year like that.

WLB: Sio Moore, 57, was signed on to remain 2 more years and has been the most consistent LB on the team. Zach Brown, 43, will be the backup.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 62, will once again shadow the opponent's top WRs. He should be helped by a boosted pass rush. Keith McGill, 52, is a good nickle corner.

RCB: Late FA signing Brandon Dixon, 43, will start here. Chris Culliver, 38, has started for 2 years but is fading. Dalton Kramer, 37, was a UDFA last year and could play some.

SS: Frank Shepardson, 40, has been a consistent player since being picked in the 6th round 2 years ago. UDFA Rusty Levine, 18/33, will likely not play.

FS: Tavon Wilson, 50, has been one of the best FA signings this team has made. Dwayne Emmons, 40, was MR Irrelevant 2 years ago and has been a solid role player since.

LS: 2nd year man Antoine Watkins, 17, will fill this spot.

We start the season as 15 point favorites heading to Denver. We now have the 4th best roster in the league and are quickly moving up. Denver has a pair of elite corners in Bradley Roby, 74, and rookie Cesar Farley, 56/75, that will make passing tough.

Week 2 we are a 13 point favorite hosting Washington. With just 4 starters brought in in the last 3 drafts this is a team that has struggled to add talent.

Week 3 we draw an even matchup as we host Cleveland. They have the best offensive line in football adding another stud, Asher Van Pelt, 65/86, in this last draft.

Mackenzie Kemock is still out 6 weeks. Tavon Wilson and Sio Moore are still out 2. Abel Durham is probable 4 week with knee tendinitis. Frank Shepardson, Sean Lyon, and Brandon Mosley are probable 1 week.

We started off the game with a FG and were driving again until Lewis O'Neill made an 86 yard pick 6. Carr bounced back leading a long drive ending with Thornton catching a 1 yard TD and we added a FG to make it 13-7. Robert Turbin broke a 37 yard run to end the half though and they headed to halftime with the lead.

Following a 2 game slide we are set for week 5 to face the 0-4 chiefs on our home field. With Brian Hoyer in for the injured Ezra Gutierrez this should be a winnable game for us.

Carlos Thompson is still out 4 weeks and now Khalil Mack is out 4 with a pulled calf. Mackenzie Kemock is doubtful 4 weeks. Abel Durham is probable 3. DJ Hayden is probable 1 week.

After we punt on our first 5 possessions and the Chiefs score on a Hoyer to Crabtree TD Carr comes back and throws TDs on 3 straight possessions, all long drives that actually ended in 3 different quarters with the last drive of the 2nd quarter, after a KC punt a long 3rd quarter drive, and then after the Chiefs drove all the way down only to fumble on the 3 yard line another long drive that ended early in the 4th. Khalil Mack was given a 4 year deal worth 28 million with 5 guaranteed. P Marquette King was given 8 over 3 with 1.4 guaranteed. CB Keith McGill, a former 4th round pick, was given 27.5 over 5 with 3.7 guaranteed. Former FA Tavon Wilson, whose first FA deal ended in a 1.5 million dollar year including bonus was given 22 over 4 with 3.8 guaranteed.

Week 7 we are facing a 3-3 New Jersey squad. Despite traveling across the country we are a 2 point favorite. The Jets did draft QB Malachi Diano, 23/49, in the 1st round this year but are taking him slow going, instead, with Eli Robinson, 32/41, this year. The defensive line is still the strength of their squad though with Muhammad Wilkerson, 76, Jared Odrick, 71, and Sheldon Richardson, 68, leading the way.

RT Greg Robinson strained his achilles tendon and is out 4 weeks. DT Jimmy Staten is out 2 weeks with a stress fracture in his foot. Vance McDonald is doubtful 3 weeks and Khalil Mack is doubtful 2 weeks. Mackenzie Kemock is questionable for 2. Carlos Thompson is probable for 2 weeks. RG Dallas Thomas broke his toe and is probable 2 weeks. Abel Durham is still probable 1 more.

After we punted on our first drive, a quick 3 and out, the Jets responded with a TD drive ending in a justin Radmore run. We drove down looking to answer but missed a make-able FG. Our defense stepped up forcing a 3 and out and and Devin Street turned that into magic with an 80 yard punt return TD tieing the score. The Jets were going backwards quickly with a penalty, a stuffed run, and then a sack on the next drive when it turned from bad to worse with a Tavon Wilson pick and a short Liam Dunsmore TD on the following drive. The Jets got it together to drive 80 yards finishing with Erick Dekker catching a TD to tie the score but we got the lead back with a FG on the following drive. That is when it fell apart for Jersey as they took over with just under 2 minutes left in the half and chris Culliver quickly turned a pick into a TD. On the following drive the Jets were again trying to end the half with points when Tavon Wilson made a pick 6 to push the lead to 31-14. The Jets did finally get down the field and get 3 before the half but the effort may not have been worth it.

We had to punt on our first drive of the 2nd half and New Jersey responded with a drive ending in a Jalen Saunders TD grab. We drove down and got close enough to try a kick but missed but our defense came up big forcing a turnover on downs as the Jets ended just out of FG range. We went to the ground trying to kill the clock and Liam Dunsmore wasn't happy with just that as he headed all the way into the endzone pushing the lead to 2 scores. After the teams traded punts Eli Robinson committed his 4th turnover fumbling the ball away and we got 3 more points. He did lead a final drive to get Levine Toilolo a TD catch with 19 seconds left but we held on for the 41-34 win.

Carr went 13/18 for 141. Dunsmore ran 17 times for 86 yards and 2 TDs. Bobby Thornton caught 4 for 56 yards.

Robinson went 23/38 for 243 and 3 TDs and 3 picks and a lost fumble. Radmore ran 19 times for 120 yards and a TD. Decker caught 6 passes for 105 and a TD.

Perry Riley had 12 tackles. Zach Brown had a sack and Jacob Keith had a sack strip which Nolan Randle recovered. Tavon Wilson had 2 picks and Chris Culliver had 1.

A week 8 bye allowed us to get healthy to host the 4-3 Dolphins week 9. The phins also took a first round QB, Duane Mettert, 23/52, but are going with 12th year vet Jason Campbell, 40, for this year. Their defense, led by 2nd year MLB Donny Krzyzanowski, 84, and DE Cameron Wake, 71, can be fierce.

Jimmy Staten is still doubtful 1 week and Vance McDonald is questionable for 2. WR Jared Kocurek has elbow bursitis and is probable 3 weeks and Greg Robinson is still probable for 2.

After they punted and our promising 1st drive ended on a Jared Kocurek fumble each team punted on 3 and outs. Miami got it started first with an 80 yard drive ending on a 2 yard Mike Wallace TD grab. We had a drive going again but stalled out and punted and they took a 10-0 lead. We finally found our offense and Carr led a drive ending with Sean Lyon catching a TD. They answered ending the half with a Mike Wallace TD grab to go up 17-7. Carr and Thompson owned the 3rd quarter as they hooked up for a pair of TDs ith Geoff Jamison adding one for the phins between thatand we cut the lead to 24-21. After a couple stalled drives Carr threw a pick to set them up an easy FG try but when he got the ball back he put his game face on and drove the team down with a series of nice passes ending with Bobby Thornton catching a 16 yards score to give us a 28-27 win.

Carr went 28/39 for 292 with 4 TDs and a pick while Liam Dunsmore ran 15 times for 138 yards. Carlos Thompson had a great comeback game with 7 grabs for 111 yards and 2 TDs.

Jason Campbell went 29/48 for 303 with 3 TDs and Devante Perkins ran 22 times for 115 yards. Brian Hartline caught 8 passes for 104 yards and while the Phins didnt turn it over and forced 2 turnovers and had solid offense they just could not win.

Khalil Mack came back strong with 15 tackles and a sack and Jacob Keith and Justin Ellis each had a sack.

Week 10 we are a 3 point favorite hosting the San Diego Chargers. After years of wasting away falling behind they have brought in 7 quality starters in the last 2 years headlined by RB Ethan Wishon, 55/58, in the 1st round this year.

Bruce Gunn joins our injured report out 4 weeks with a hyperextended knee and Brandon Dixon, our starting #2 corner, is out 2 with a strained achilles tendon. Jared Kocurek is probable 2 weeks and Greg Robinson and Vance McDonald are both probable for 1.

After each team opened up with a punt we put together some big plays quickly going 73 yards for a drive ending in a Carlos Thompson TD. After forcing another punt we took 12 plays to go 76 yards ending with Liam Dunsmore in the endzone on a 1 yard run. Things turned even worse as a Philip Rivers fumble, the first of 3, led to a FG to make it a 3 score game. They did end up with a FG and then made a pick and added another to make it 17-6 at the half.

Starting the 2nd half Rivers lost his 2nd fumble and Carr answered right away with a 1 play drive and a Jared Kocurek TD. They then finally put together a TD drive ending in a Roger Novack TD grab. After that both sides went cold punting 3 times each with only 1 total 1st down gained between them before we finally got it back together with a drive capped with a Devin Floyd TD run to make it 31-12. They answered with a Tristan Nussmeier TD grab but fumbled another time and threw a pick as we ran out the clock adding another FG to our total.

Carr went 21/31 for 224 with 2 TDs and a pick. Dunsmore ran 22 times for 115 yards and a TD and Floyd added 11 for 69 and a score. Kocurek caught 9 for 96 and a TD.

Rivers went 29/48 for 309 with 2 TDs and a pick but lost 3 fumbles. He led the team with 5 carries for 64 yards as Chad Jones was their next best rusher with 9 for 24. Keenan Allen grabbed 10 for 129 yards.

Perry Riley made 14 tackles. Hunter Middleton made 2 sacks while justin ellis had 1.5, Jacob Keith and Khalil Mack each had 1 and Abel Durham had .5. Week 11 we are hosting a 3-6 Denver team as a 9 point favorite. Cesar Farley, 63/75, joins a talented defensive backfield but their offense is declining.

Devin Street, our top slot WR, is out 43 weeks and on IR with a compound leg fracture. Bruce Gunn is doubtful 3 weeks and Jared Kocurek is probable for 1.

After Osweiler loses his first of 3 fumbles and we answer with a Dunsmore TD run they are forced to punt and Carlos Thompson is able to end a drive scoring from 2 yards out on a catch from Carr. They did cut it to 1 with a 40 yard Montee Ball TD run and 2 FGs but we owned the end of the game adding 2 kicks and a Richardson TD grab while they kept turning it over.

Carr went 18/31 for 182 with 2 TDs and a pick. Dunsmore ran 25 times for 87 yards and a TD. Bobby Thornton caught 3 passes for 66 yards.

Osweiler went 18/32 for 233 with a pick but fumbled 3 times. Ball was held down other than the 40 yard score gaining just 54 total yards on 7 carries. Fernando Pierce made 7 grabs for 99 yard but took 14 targets to do it.

Justin Ellis was the leader of the defense with 7 tackles 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. Jacob Keith had 2 sacks and a forced fumble and Lamar Yarbrough had a forced fumble. Abel Durham had a sack. Brandon Dixon recovered 2 fumbles and had a pick. Nolan Randle also recovered a fumble.

Week 12 we are a 5 point favorite over a dallas team that has been building their defense lately with their gem from last year, DE Gerald Limbeck, 65/77 leading the way.

Bruce Gunn is activated and upgraded to questionable for 2 weeks. Vince Binkow is probable 2 weeks with a deep thigh bruise and paul Richardson is probable 3 with a bruised ribcage.

After Demarco Murray starts it off with a 4 yard TD grab Jared Kocurek continues his great rookie year with a 15 yard score. Darren Moland answers 46 seconds later with a 23 yard TD grab but we added a FG and then with a minute left in the first half Khalil Mack made a 61 yard pick 6. They added 3 to end the half tied 17-17. Carlos Thompson and Bobby Thornton each scored TDs early in the 3rd though and although they did get a late TD pass to Jerome Felton we added 2 fgs to put it away.

Carr went 22/31 for 185 with 3 TDs. Dunsmore ran 15 times for 157 yards enjoying a great year behind a strong line. Thompson caught 4 passes for 49 yards and a TD.

Week 12 we are traveling to face a tough 8-3 colts squad. QB Andrew Luck, 73, stands behind a great line anchored by C Trevor Donavan, 69/85, who they picked in the 1st round 4 years ago.

MLB Perry Riley is out 2 weeks with a separated shoulder. SS Frank Shepardson is questionable 4 weeks with a sprained knee. Paul Richardson is still probable 2 weeks and Vince Binkow and Bruce Gunn each for 1.

After Derek Carr ran in a TD on our 1st drive they scored 4 straight TDs to put the game away early. Jared Kocurek did end up scoring on a 46 yard catch and Bruce Gunn added a 1 yard TD run but their 7 TDs total kept it from being close.

Carr went 21/30 for 223 with a TD and 2 picks and ran for a score but also lost a fumble and Charles Wiegman went 10/12 for 75 yards as a backup. Gunn gained 36 yards and a TD on 9 carries. Sean Lyon caught 7 passes for 64 yards.

Week 13 we have a good chance to bounce back facing a 4-8 Eagles team in Oakland. They have struggled not picking up a starter outside the first round in 3 years.

Frank Shepardson is still questionable 3 weeks and Brandon Dixon is now probable 2 with a bruised ribcage. Paul Richardson, Vince Binkow, and Perry Riley are all probable for 1.

After Carr led a quick drive ending in Mackenzie Kemock taking a FB screen 11 yards and then we forced a quick punt things were looking up. Carr fumbled it away on the ensuing drive though and Adam Newman scored on the return. Carr bounced back with another long drive ending with him sneaking it in but they closed the gap with 2 FGs to make it 14-13 at the half. The 3rd was all us as Jared Kocurek caught a 1 yard score and then right after that DJ Hayden went 57 yards on a pick 6. They did add a score in the 4th but we won 28-20.

Week 15 we are set to travel to San Diego. They are 7-6 having lost 4 of their last 5 including their game with us earlier in the year.

Khalil Mack sprained his neck and is probable 2 weeks. Frank Shepardson is also still probable 2 and brandon Dixon is probable for 1.

They started the game driving the length of the field to score on a Donald Brown run and we answered driving nearly as far to get 3. Their next drive stalled and we quickly went 3 and out before the teams again traded scores, a Chhad James 31 yard catch for them and a Liam Dunsmore TD run for us to make it 14-10. We then forced a turnover with a pick and Jared Kocurek answered with a TD grab. They did get a Ladarius Green 51 yard score to end the half though and went into the break up -17.

In the 2nd half we started off with Vance McDonald getting his first score of the year on a 4 yard catch. After they went 3 and out we had a chance to put some distance on until Bruce Gunn lost a fumble. They took the lead back as Donald Brown ran for his 2nd score of the game. The next 3 drives each way saw 2 punts by each team and a fumble lost by each team before we took the lead back 31-28 with a Carlos Thompson TD catch with a minute left. With 3 seconds left though, they got 3 to tie and we headed into overtime. They started off with the ball and after a quick stop we had a chance until Gunn lost his 2nd fumble. They came out and on the first play tried to win it with a 32 yard kick but missed and we were able to drive down and get 3 to win 34-31.

Carr went 34/39 for 362 with 3 scores. Dunsmore ran 20 times for 76 yards with a score and a fumble. Bobby Thornton has not had a great year but tonight was good for 9 grabs on 11 tries for 123 yards.

Philip Rivers went 21/30 for 304 with 2 TDs and a pick. Chad James ran 29 times for 103 yards while Brown did the scoring gaining just 23 on 8 carries but scoring twice. Roger Novack made grabs for 106 yards.

Frank Shepardson had 13 tackles. Khalil Mack, Perry Riley, Abel Durham, and Justin Ellis had .5 sacks a piece. Mack also forced a fumble and Tavon Wilson had a pick and a forced fumble. Lamar Yarbrough had a recovery.

To make things even better this game clinches our 3rd straight playoff appearance.

Before week 16 we came to a deal with Bruce Gunn. We will pay him 5 million over the next 3 years to be a backup runner. Rotational DT Lamar Yarbrough was given a nearly identical deal.

Greg Robinson is out up to 5 weeks with a strained elbow tendon. Khalil Mack is still probable 2 weeks and Frank Shepardson is probable for 1.

After 6 total punts in the 1st quarter we basically won the game in the 2nd. They started off the quarter with a 10 yard TD catch by Kelly Vajda but we answered with 2 TD grabs by Mackenzie Kemock and one by Jared Kocurek as they threw 2 picks without gaining a yard on 2 drives. We traded FGs and then TDs with Beckam making a 54 yard catch and Dunsmore scoring on a 5 yard catch. We then added a FG to make it 33-17 at the half.

Greg Robinson is still out 4 weeks and Chris Culliver is now out for 2 with a strained calf. Khalil Mack is probable for 1.

After we scored on the 1st drive on a Dunsmore TD run they answered with a 96 yard kick return. We bounced right back with a Jared Kocurek TD grab and a FG with them throwing a pick in between putting us up 17-7 while they had gained 1 yard. Once Kocurek added another TD early in the 2nd we were in control. Michael Crabtree did add 7 for them but Dunsmore broke a long TD run. They scored on TD grabs by Crabtree and Jalen Goolsby though to end the half and cut it to 31-28. We answered early in the 3rd with a Bobby Thornton TD grab and a safety gave us a little distance as we won 40-28.

Carr went 21/31 for 248 with 3 TDs and a pick. Dunsmore ran 24 times for 191 yards and 2 scores. Gerald Bakker, a mid season signing, actually led the team with 4 grabs for 103 yards.

RT Greg Robinson is still probable 2 weeks.

After Liam Dunsmore scored on a long opening drive we quickly got a pick that he turned into more points with a 2nd TD. Things quited down after that as the next 8 drives saw 7 punts and 1 FG by us. On the last of those punts by them, however, we scored on a blocked punt recovered by Keith McGill in the endzone. Greg Robinson is probable 1 week.

Cleveland's defense started strong forcing 7 straight punts but they could only answer with 2 FGs. Draft:

Sitting at 1(29) is a tough spot to be, especially when the WR I had marked who shows 78 potential went 22nd and a DE I was considering despite great DEs on my team as he projected 89 potential went right before me.

Needing to upgrade but with the 2 worthy of this spot gone I traded back with Washington to 2(10) picking up a 4th and a 5th.

At 2(10) I selected tackle Aaron Kaplan, 29/72, who will be a bookend to the great Vince Binkow.

At 2(29) we added versatility on offense with FB Ivan Pinnock, 43/76.

We then used our 3(29) pick and our 2 4th rounders to move up to 3(10) in the middle of a run on receivers and added a 6th and 7th in the process to take troubled but talented WR Bucky Creighton, 36/62.

In the 5th we then took RB Kenyon Foerstel, 47/57.

At the end of the 5th we took safety Deandre Dunlap, 21/39

We then traded both of our 6ths to Cincinatti for a future 5th.

Roster overview:

QB: Derek Carr, 63, is obviously the man here and is a top 5 QB in this league. Derek Thoman. 16/50, and Charles Wiegmann, 28/42, are both quality backups.

RB: We have a change worth noting here for the first time in years as rookie 5th round pick Kenyon Foerstel, 49/61, will be toting the rock. Liam Dunsmore, 46, will be his primary backup coming off of a breakout season and Bruce Gunn, 44, will be the receiving down back.

FB: 2nd round pick Ivan Pinnock, 50/73, looks like a stud while Mackenzie Kemock, 55, is also a quality player.

TE: Carlos Thompson, 74, is a great pass catching TE, currently seen as the 4th best in the league, poised to dominate from this spot. Sean Lyon, 54, may not be at that same level but he can be a great #2. Vance McDonald, 50, makes a good 3rd TE as he is a blocker who can play FB but we have depth there now too.

WR: Bobby Thornton, 65, and Jared Kocurek, 61, make a great starting duo. 3rd round pick Bucky Creighton, 42/68, looks to add an explosive 3rd man to the group. Devin Street, 44, looked great until he broke his leg last year but will miss half this season too. Paul Richardson, 40, was a disappointing FA last year.

C: Graham Moore, 69/70, is one of the better centers in the league, currently ranked 9th. Brandon Mosley, 49, is a solid backup.

LG: Raul Webster, 69, is currently considered the 6th best at either guard spot in the league. Dominigo Harvey, 22/50, is a high upside reserve.

RG: Dallas Thomas, 50, is a capable player in his 6th year while Spencer Nasbaum, 29/50, has upside.

LT: Vince Binkow, 76, is currently the 3rd best tackle in the league. 3rd year man Jeremiah Strickland, 31/48, is solid.

RT: Rookie Aaron Kaplan, 38/72, could become great. Greg Robinson, 50, could be the top backup tackle in the league.

P: Marquette King, 69, is the 10th best in the league so holding steady here.

K: Lamar Ficken, 53, is a solid enough kicker at 13th in the league.

LDE: Abel Durham, 63/78, is the 16th best end in the country with the potential to hit top 2 Vernon Olivier, 57, is an expensive but talented backup.

RDE: Jacob Keith, 61/65, is a great pass rushing DE coming off of a breakout year. Hunter Middleton, 49/55, has been a consistent contributor for years.

LDT: We signed another band-aid type FA here in Ezra Friend, 43/47. He will start. Nolan Randle, 43, and Lamar Yarbrough, 40, will back him up.

RDT: We signed our top FA so far, Michael Brockers, 70, here. He should give a great anchor to our line. Shannon Shrieber, 38/46, will be his backup

MLB: Last year's FA Perry Riley, 47, is our starter but is expected to miss the first few games. Dakota Saban, 45, will fill in for him.

SLB: Khalil Mack, 72, has been a very good backer for us. Jared Bernard, 37/39, has probably been the best LB I have drafted but that isn't saying much.

WLB: Sio Moore, 55, has been a steady contributer. Zach Brown, 43, will fill in when needed here and at SLB.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 63, has been a staple here. Keith McGill, 61, is a great nickle guy. Marcus Cooper, 42, will play sparingly.

RCB: Lester Norris, 47, is a very good man cover corner. Brandon Dixon, 44, was a solid starter for us last year.

SS: Frank Shepardson, 40, has been a solid starter since being a 6th round pick. Deandre Dunlap, 23/35, does not look to be such a steal.

FS: Tavon Wilson, 50, is still one of our most successful FA signings. Dwayne Emmons, 40, was a steal as the last pick of his draft and is now a very good dime back and backup safety.

LS: Antoine Watkins, 17, is a dependable snapper

Now as my first draft enters their first year it is a good time to look back and see how they have done.

LT Vince Binkow, 76: After being chosen 1:6 he has proven to be a dominant LT. He was the most talented overall player in the 1st round and given that he was at a prime position this is clearly an A+ pick, especially after adding an extra 1st next year by trading down. To further show the team's commitment to him as a franchise player he was also resigned to a 4 year extension, total of 5 year contract, worth 54 million dollars. Another interesting point here about the top of that 1st round, the raiders signed, this offseason, the player drafted directly after Binkow, CB Lester Norris, 47. Grade: A+

WR Bobby Thornton, 65: After trading down at the top of the round the Raiders traded back into the end of the 1st to take a guy who looked like a potential superstar WR. While Bobby has not been that level of star he has been a very good receiver and looks to be a long term starter as evidenced by him signing a 4 year contract worth nearly 28 million dollars and he is currently looked at as the top receiver from this class. Grade: A

CB Neal Reynolds, Out of the league: This pick was a total bust. He never played a game in this league. The best part about this pick is the Raiders had traded back so got some extra picks here. Grade: F

FB Julio Pace, 46: Another pick that did Oakland no good. After trading up to take him at the end of the 3rd he was cut right away and did not play his rookie year but caught on with the Chiefs for a bit playing 3 games. Last year he was the starting FB for the Saints and this year will be for the Colts. There was talent here but none that the Raiders could use. Grade: F

K Winfred Glen, Out of league: The stretch of failed picks continued in the middle of the 4th. K Sebastian Janikowski was aging and the Raiders were looking for a potential replacement. After staying with them through the preseason Glen was cut as the old vet stayed around another year. He did kick 10 games for the Eagles making 13 of 16 FGs but is now out of the league. Grade: F

HB Liam Dunsmore, 46: Finally, after 3 failed picks, the Raiders got back on track and got this one right. Dunsmore was the top back remaining available and by most accounts the 6th best overall back in this class. He has racked up 3300 rushing yards and 23 TDs in his first 3 years though it looks like he may now lose his starting spot and does not look likely to be resigned. Grade: B

NT Kris Oberhue 32/43: Kris played a couple seasons in Oakland as mostly a rotational injury fill in tackle. Last year he was cut and went to Seattle where he is a backup NT. Not a huge hit here but there was production value gained from a pick at the top of the 5th round. Grade: D+

DE Hunter Middleton, 55: Hunter was a green page player despite being a mid 5th round pick. He is a versatile end and after starting his first year he has been a rotational guy the past few. He has yet to get a long term contract but did sign an extension that will pay him over 2 million next year. All in all great value in the late rounds. Grade: B+

SS Frank Shepardson, 40: After being taken with the 1st pick of the 6th round Frank has started 48 regular season games and 7 playoff games in 3 years. He has made over 300 tackles, 6 picks, and 3 TDs in that time in the regular season and added another pick 6 in the playoffs and has been a big time playmaker for the back end of this defense. He signed a 5 year 20 million dollar deal to stay with the team. Grade: A-

FS Dwayne Emmons, 40: Dwayne has been a backup at both safety spots and a good nickle/dime player for the past 4 years leading to a 3 year 5 million dollar deal. He is a converted corner who has shown a knack for making timely plays on the ball. Certainly not bad for the last pick of the draft. Grade: B+

Key UDFAs:

DT Lamar Yarbrough, 40: Racking up 5 sacks as a rotational tackle he has been a solid depth player for his career so far.

HB Bruce Gunn, 44: A great 3rd down back, Gunn has ran for 2400 yards and 18 TDs and added nearly 400 and 4 scores as a receiver.

Overall, this class added 4 full time starters for at least 3 years, 3 of whom will go longer than that, and another 4 good depth players. Also, one of the premium positions was filled with a top player. There were some misses in the middle but overall a very good class. Initial grade by league: B+. My Grade: A

Week 6 we face one of the top teams in the NFL, 4-0 Cleveland, in Ohio. Coming off of a superbowl win they are the only team with trench players who can match our across the board.

Bucky Creighton is still out 2 weeks. Perry Riley is questionable for 2. Devin Street is probable 3 weeks. Dallas Thomas broke a finger and is probable 2. Ivan Pinnock and Dakota Saban are probable 1.

Ezra Friend and Devin Street are both probable 2 weeks and Dallas Thomas, Perry Riley, and Bucky Creighton are probable for 1.

After a missed FG by them and a turnover on downs by us we took the final long drive of the 1st quarter 16 plays before making a FG. We then forced a punt and got another 3 and took a 6-0 lead into the half. That was where things opened up with Harrison Goeas breaking out a 24 yard run for them to score and then Bobby Thornton getting open for a 22 yard TD grab. Travis Kelce then answered back with a TD grab and we added a FG to make it 16-14. With just 48 seconds left Ezra Gutierrez found Quinton Patton for a 10 yard score looking to seal the win but seconds later Bobby Thornton broke free for a 78 yard score and after missing the 2 point try we won 22-21.

Ivan Pinnock is questionable this week with a pulled groin Tavon Wilson is probable 3 weeks with a sprained thumb. Sean Lyon is also probable 1 more week.

Once again our defense was stout holding the chargers to 4 straight punts and ending each of their first 10 drives with either a punt or a pick. Meanwhile we scored a FG and then after a quick punt we scored on 3 straight drives. First was a Carr pass to Devin Street from 35 yards then to Sean Lyon from 10 then another FG. Ivan Pinnock broke his arm and will miss 5 games. SS Frank Shepardson strained his achilles and is out 2 weeks. Derek Carr is probable 2 weeks with a strained quad and Khalil Mack and Tavon Wilson are still probable for 1 week.

After they took the opening kick 94 yards for a TD Mackenzie Kemock took advantage of his first playing time scoring on a 7 yard catch. After we got a stop Carr found Sean Lyon for a 2 yard score. Another 3 punts from them and our answer was FG, Bobby Thornton TD catch, FG and we took a 27-7 lead into the half. They came out and scored on a Giovanni Pascoe run and a Jeff Cumberland TD catch to cut the lead to 27-21 but Jared Kocurek caught a TD to add to our lead. We couldnt get the 2 and they scored late on another Cumberland catch to cut it to a 1 score game but we won 33-28.

Carr went 22/41 for 308 with 4 TDs and a pick. Bruce Gunn ran 16 times for 66 yards. Bobby thornton caught 6 for 115 yards and a TD and Jared Kocurek added 6 for 104 and a score.

Week 13 we have one of our toughest challenges remaining this year as we travel to face an 8-3 colts team. Andrew Luck, 74, is a beast behind a line with likely the best individual lineman, Trevor Donovan, 95, in the league. Rookie DE Santiago Quinn, 44/87, is a guy we targeted even though we were stacked at the spot but the Colts took him right before our pick.

Ivan Pinnock is still out 4 weeks. FS Dwayne Emmons sprained his knee and is questionable 3 weeks. Derek Carr and Frank Shepardson are probable 1 week.

Both teams started off with long drives ending in punts before the colts drove the length of the field to settle for a 21 yard FG. We answered with an 80 yard drive ending with Mackenzie Kemock, taking advantage of his playing time at FB, scoring on a 1 yard catch. The half then went back to quiet as they punted 3 more times and we punted twice and scored a FG to take a 10-3 lead into the half.

They held us there forcing punt after punt in the 3rd while they scored on an Albert Flowers TD catch. Finally in the 4th we broke the tie again with 6 minutes left on a 43 yard FG but after a couple quick punts the took over with 2:19 left and drove the field scoring on a 27 yard pass to Dwayne Allen with just 1:06 remaining. We took over again, after a solid kick return, at the 33 yard line and after an incomplete pass Carr hit Bobby Thornton on a deep ball ending the game with a 67 yard score and a 20-17 win.

Carr went 17/26 for 283 with 2 TDs. Liam Dunsmore ran 18 times for 61 yards. Bobby Thornton caught 5 of 6 targets for 146 yards and a TD.

Luck went 22/31 for 279 yards and 2 TDs. Mike James ran 14 times for 51 yards. Dwayne Allen caught all 4 of his targets for 98 yards and a TD.

Week 14 we are facing an 0-12 Arizona team and facing them in Oakland. This shouldn't be a problem. They have a top notch secondary led by Patrick Peterson, 80, and 3 others who are all 60s but their offense is completely lacking skill players.

Ivan Pinnock is still out 3 weeks and now Khalil Mack is out 3 with a hyperextended elbow. Dallas Thomas sprained his knee and is questionable 3 weeks and dwayne Emmons is still questionable for 2.

Neither team could get anything going on offense. We started off with 4 straight punts but they were worse either punting or turning it over on 9 straight drives to start including a fumble that Abel Durham returned for a TD. We then got a little offense going getting a FG and a Liam Dunsmore TD catch before the half.

In the middle of the 3rd they finally put together a drive and Miles Johnson cut it to a 2 score game on a TD grab from Ezra Ramsey. We answered with Mackenzie Kemock scoring a 2 yard TD catch. In the 4th they made a QB change and Robert Griffen III hit Nick Toon for an 81 yard score to make it 24-14. They then closed the gap further with a FG but we answered with our own and held on for a 27-17 win.

Carr went 21/37 for 187 with 2 TDs and 2 picks. Liam Dunsmore ran 12 times for 55 yards. Bobby Thornton caught 5 passes for 103 yards.

Ezra Ramsey went 11/20 for just 88 yards and a score. Griffin had nearly that many yards on one throw and went 9/14 for 134 with a TD. Miles Johnson ran 16 times for 58 yards. Nick Toon's 81 yard TD catch led the team in receiving yards.

DJ Hayden had 8 tackles. Michael Brockers had 1.5 sacks and forced the fumble that Abel Durham recovered. Ezra Friend and Jacob Keith each had a sack and Hunter Middleton had .5.

This game clinched us the division guaranteeing us a place above the Chiefs and also gives us homefield advantage in the playoffs.

Week 15 we face the last winning team that we have to play before the playoffs in 9-4 Kansas City on the road. They have really bounced back this year with Gutierrez behind center and should be a challenge.

We start off in control again as Carr hit Sean Lyon for a 39 yard score. Both teams then added FGs before KC tied it at 10 right before the half with a Crabtree TD grab.

In the 2nd half we got it started with a Liam Dunsmore TD run but then on our next drive penalties got us in trouble pushing us back far enough they got a sack and a safety to make it 17-12. We added a couple FGs to push it to a 2 score game. They did make a kick with 17 seconds left to bring it to 23-15 but they weren't able to make a miracle happen.

Carr went 25/28 for 230 with a TD. Dunsmore ran 17 times for just 47 yards and a TD. Lyon was the top receiver with 4 grabs for 54 yards and a TD.

Gutierrez went 24/37 for 217 with a TD and a pick. Martin Herndon ran 11 times for 41 yards. Michael Crabtree caught 6 for 86 and a TD.

We came out quick and scored on a Jared Kocurek TD catch but denver answered with a Stevan Ridley run. We came back and scored on a Vance McDonald TD catch but Ridley ran another in. From there denver took over with a FG, a safety, another Ridley run, and another FG to win 29-14.

In the superbowl we are facing a Detroit Lions team with the best receiving corps in the game. Calvin Johnson, 75, may be a household name but 2nd year man Jaylen Hampton, 83, is turning into a star. Their defense is built up from like ours with Ndamukong Suh, 71, Nick Fairley, 78, and Ezekiel Ansah, 78, leading the way.

Devin Street will miss the superbowl with a concussion. Zach Brown is back and questionable as is Raul Webster with a sprained knee. CB Lester Norris is probable with shoulder tendinitis.

Detroit started things off with a FG which we quickly matched but then Sio Moore made a huge play picking off stafford and going 44 yards for a score. The lions came back and Eric Ebron scored on a 14 yard grab. We took the lead with a safety and then Liam Dunsmore scored on a 2 yard run. A pair of punts by them allowed us to open it up as Carr found Paul Richardson and Jared Kocurek for scores. They did get 3 to end the half but we were up 33-13 entering the break. After Sean Lyon scored in the early 3rd we were able to hold them off despite TD throws to Justin Blackmon and Calvin Johnson and we won 40-27.

Carr was named superbowl MVP going 28/32 for 327 with 3 scores and a pick. Dunsmore ran 18 times for 71 yards and a TD. Kocurek caught 7 passes for 109 and a TD.

Stafford went 26/49 for 310 and 3 TDs but threw 3 picks. Carl Devine was held to 32 yards on 8 carries. Ebron was their top pass catcher with 6 for 106 and a TD.

DJ Hayden had 8 tackles. Abel Durham had a sack. Sio Moore, Perry Riley, and Marcus Cooper each had a pick

A quick look at the grey sheet shows our potential FA losses as 4.9 grade RB Liam Dunsmore, the 6th rated back, and 4.4 graded ILB Dakota Saban, our backup MLB.

We offer 7 million over 3 years to ILB Mychal Kendricks, 49, an 8th year pro who could give us depth.

We also throw Dunsmore an offer of 4 million for 2 years seeing if his loyalty might keep him cheap. He is asking much less than the 3 million per year he had been seeking.

In stage 5 Kendricks signed.

In stage 7 Dunsmore signed.

With one of the weakest drafts I have seen and all the 1st round talent gone in the top 9 picks we traded our 1.32 pick to denver for next year's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounders.

We then traded our 2nd to the jets for their future 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounders.

We finally used a pick, 3.32, on TE Melvin Connell, 33/57, who is only 6'1" 232 lbs, but has great talent for the draft we are in.

At 4.32 we try to upgrade our kicker spot with Curtis Schafer, 34/62.

We offer our 2 5th rounders and a 6th to arizona for a 4th next year.

We use the last pick of the draft on OLB Winston Ellison, 12/34, ending the draft having made only 3 picks but having taken 2 quality players and added picks for next year hoping for a better draft class.

As we are evaluating our roster we traded FB Mackenzie Kemock, 54, to the steelers for a 4th round pick. He was our 3rd FB going into this year and not likely to play though he scored 3 TDs for us each of the last 3 years.

Roster:

QB: Derek Carr, 64, is again looking like a stud coming off of winning superbowl MVP but will miss the start of the season with a dislocated shoulder. Hopefully it does not hurt him long term. Derek Thomas, 22/50, got the preseason starter snaps and looks like the guy going forward over Charles Wiegmann, 34/42. On the bright side for whoever plays, they won't be asked to do much with the league's top roster around them. Malik Greer, 13/33, was signed as a UDFA to be the 3rd QB.

RB: Kenyon Foerstel, 55/61, looks to bounce back from a disappointing rookie year that ended with an injury. Liam Dunsmore, 46, will again start as the backup after his 4th year in a row as our leading rusher. Bruce Gunn, 44, hyperextended his elbow and could miss up to 3 weeks but is our top receiving back.

FB: Ivan Pinnock, 64/73, is a great blocker who adds a little as a pass catcher. Noah White, 34/57, was not resigned by denver and will be our backup.

TE: Carlos Thompson, 74, is coming off of a long injury and is now in a contract year. He is asking for a lot of money to resign after playing on his 6th round rookie contract for the last 3 years but he looks to be a dominant TE, likely the 2nd best in the league. Sean Lyon, 51, filled in amazingly well last year and will be a good TE2. 3rd round pick Melvin Connell, 40/62, looks to be proof that the raider's staff can find great TEs every year.

WR: Bobby Thornton, 65, is coming off a career year with over 1500 yards through the air and 14 touchdowns caught and another on the ground. Jared Kocurek, 62, did not hit double digit TDs like he did as a rookie but still caught for over 1200 yards. Bucky Creighton, 51/68, did not see a lot of playing time as a rookie given all the talented vets on the roster but should see more this year. Devin Street, 44, is a solid punt returner who gets some playing time on offense. Rookie Danny Babka, 22/35, won't play much.

C: Graham Moore, 71, is starting the season out 4 weeks with a pulled calf. He is in a contract year so needs to be out there proving his worth. 8th year man Brandon Mosley, 36, has dropped off lately but will fill in a couple games.

LG: Raul Webster, 68, also in a contract year, will be the starter here and has been solid throughout his rookie contract. Dominigo Harvey, 28/48, will back up both guard spots as we used extra places elsewhere.

RG: Dallas Thomas, 50, is aging entering his 7th year but he is still seen as a solid starter going forward.

LT: Vince Binkow, 76, is still a star entering his 5th season. Jeremiah Strickland, 26/36 won't play unless Vince is hurt.

RT: Aaron Kaplan, 54/65, was decent as a rookie. Greg Robinson, 50, is one of the better backup linemen in the league.

P Marquette King, 69, is a decent punter.

K: Lamar Ficken, 52, was kept around as we have a chance to win now and he has experience. Curtis Schafer, 35/56, has more upside though.
