I haven't posted here much lately with other things going on in life. I also tend to avoid political/hot point discussions on the internet because it tends to not turn out well.
In this case however, I wanted to share a video I came across regarding Parenthood the television series from 2010 which was based on the Steve Martin movie. When I first heard about this I knew I would be upset, but I did the online thing anyway and watched the show. It makes me sad that people would ever consider remaking a movie like this into a show and Ron Howard's vision of a distressed family life was pretty perfect
I do not want this thread to turn into a media forms tv vs movie debate where tempers flare and people get banned (we already have one of those here).
I just want to share this with the community here and say that I was wrong for panning the show Parenthood. It's fucking great. I have no expectations and may not respond in this thread again.
I died a little inside after watching this woman cry about the state of her marriage and the way her life has evolved into something that she cannot control.
