Who's side am I supposed to take? That bicyclist was a twat. He deserved to get his ass kicked. I wasn't happy with how it ended.

I think the cyclist was legitimately upset that the car almost ran over him. Not sure what the driver was so upset about. Whatever it was, it certainly didn't merit endangering someone else's life.

I think it was within his rights to confront the guy for almost running him over. If someone does something that could seriously hurt (or kill) you, and then is a completely unapologetic prick about it, I think it would set off most reasonable people. The driver's reaction was completely out of line. That said, I do agree that you say your piece, get the information about the car, and move out of harm's way.
