What if suddenly the 2% of posts that are randomly deleted by vBulletin magic/internet caching issues...what if these were to suddenly reappear in some sort of inverse version of The Leftovers. Please let us reflect upon some of the elaborate posts that were magically a victim of the departure, whisked away into the the binary atmosphere.
I know I've had some major thoughts typed out over the years that have just vanished due to browser being browser

I have a feeling that in the future the mods are going to blackmail us by exposing all our deleted posts.

Not that this thread is meant for anything substantive, but we actually had this happen at IHOF. We were able to save a number of the posts ultimately, but for whatever reason (someone else may remember the details) we couldn't put them back into their sub-forums. So, we ended up with a sub-forum of orphan threads.

Sorry that I snipped your thought, but I think that the problem with the community is dwelling within the judgement of what is worthy and what is not.
That was my major point. Of course, I can't stop how I communicate that, but I'm just me.
We are all human, but who decides what is acceptable? Are the humans that make those decisions perfect? Probably not. I just want this forum to think and FEEL again.

I dunno if it's happened to you, but sometimes I've had thoughts typed out and the browser randomly refreshed and these thoughts were lost forever.

So, we ended up with a sub-forum of orphan threads.I actually went through a bunch of those and moved them back to where they, presumably, belonged. But in the end, it was a lot (too much) work to move everything back to it's original location. Database technically, bringing children back to their parents is pretty rough if you have no records of who their parents were...
On the plus side, we finally had a legitimate reason to blame Ben for something. Or should we still blame Buzzbee for giving Ben the opportunity? ;)
