This is a horse racing game.. Strike that.. this is THE horse racing simulation for the ps2(well its also the only one, other then gr 2001) and these are my impressions
What i like:Multitude of options.. horses(with fictional names but apparently based off real life horsies.. attributes.. Breeding options seem fairly in depth.. The training mini games to increase your breeded horse's attributes(think madden training camp feature for your created player).. This game is NOT easy to win at with crappy horses(what you start with)
What is kinda odd:If your horse is classified as a mid pack horse and you pull out to a early lead.. your horse gets tired quicker due to bad posistion.. even if you back off the speed.. Easiest horses to race are the mid pack ones.. but you race them almost like nascar's.. hit the speed.. and get behind a horse so you slow up before you hit them.. drafting baby!
Overall:Worth buying for sure.. but its rough to find, if you see it at blockbuster its for sure a rent.. But if your tempted to rent you'll want to buy it :)
