FBCB Coaches Dynasty restart- sign up thread

For those of you that have been following my interactive coaches dynasty, or for those of you that have coaches in it, you've seen that I've had to end it due to computer problems. I'll be restarting it from scratch when I do get a PC back and get FBCB re-installed, and I'd like to get it back up to at least the 20 coaches I had in the original one. So please feel free to sign up with 1 or 2 teams, (max 2 for now, until I see how much interest there is, then I may allow 3 teams per user).

I will be restarting the coaches dynasty not next week, but the week after. There's still quite a few people who were in the previous one that haven't signed up for this one, especially bbgunn and britrock88. I'll send out a few PMs to users who have participated in my dynasties in the past and see if I can get the coach count up another 8 or 10 before I get going.

Also, as far as the realignment goes, I am not going to use a mod, for the simple reason that I don't know how it would effect my FBCB Interactive Player Dynasty. I'm not sure if it would hurt it or not.

So I can either manually realign the conferences, which will take some time, or I can just keep the conferences they were in the first one, with Colorado being in the Big 12 and so on. I'm taking votes.

Or if a regular FBCB player comes forward and says I'd be ok to use a mod without effecting my FBCB Player Dynasty, I'll look into that.

Great to see some familiar coaches back, and a few new faces.

I am currently looking for the most up to date mod with conference realignment. Once I find one I'll get it downloaded and get this project restarted, hopefully sometime this week. If I can't find a mod for whatever reason, or can't get it installed right, I guess I'll just have to go from scratch with the default alignment in the game, as it would probably take way too long to update things myself.

As we are in the offseason, I am bumping this thread to hopefully get a few more coaches in the mix. I would love to see some new users throw a coach in, or for those users that have 1 coach, if you want to throw a second in, feel free. I'd like to get this up to about 25 coaches, so that leaves 6 spots open.

To be fair, I have made a rule that all coaches start at the same age, so new coaches will start at the same age that all the previous coaches started at (can't remember what that was).

Coaches always have the option to retire early, but again, to be fair, I will be forcing retirement for coaches at a certain age, so that I can get a good judge from the spreadsheets of who the best coaches were. I know that team choice has a lot to do with that, but that's a long ways down the road. For now though, get me some new coaches!

Nope, 2 totally different files. 1 saved game file is the player dynasty, second saved game file is coaches dynasty.

Player dynasty is using the files that came with the game, coaches dynasty is using a mod with current conference alignments, tournaments and so on.

I am bumping this sign-up thread, as I'd like to replace some of the coaches we lost due to inactivity. I'd like to get it up to about 20 coaches, and we're at 15 right now. So if anybody is interested, go ahead and sign up. For those that have a coach already, if you want a second one, then go ahead and sign up for a second one. I have an opening for 2 or 3 more coaches, and I'm going to be a little picky here, as we have a lot of coaches that are in a conference of prestige 3 or less. I don't want another coach in the Pac 12 as we already have 4, and I'd like to get another coach in a prestige 4 conference where there isn't a coach. So with that being said, the following prestige 4 conference are putting out adverts for an FOFC coach:

Atlantic 10, MAC, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, WCC.

If anybody wants to take a coach specifically in those leagues, that's fine. If you absolutely have another school in mind that isn't in any of those conferences, let me know, but those 5 conferences are my top choices to put another FOFC coach in.
