The bad news is that I have a job offering from a company in Detroit.
What should I do?

I work and live in Metro Detroit. I think you'll like it. There are some very nice 'burbs, this is a great sports town, and if you're into cars at all, this is a great town to be in.

Congrats! I visit Detroit for work quite often... The city is a hidden gem. Spent last night having brews at a few local brewpubs in corktown. I would buy a vintage home there in a second. No worse than parts of Chicago.
