Ha. Just posted this on the Netflix thread at same time.

Have you started it yet and if so, thoughts?

Haha. I figured, if Daredevil gets his own thread, why not JJ? I have not started yet, but I will tonight.

Definitely going to check this out. I love Krysten Ritter and if the show quality is anything near what Daredevil was, it is going to be awesome.

I didn't know anything about the show before I started watching it. About halfway through and really enjoying it so far.

The only part I really didn't care for was the Luke Cage stuff. I suppose I will watch his show but I don't think he's a very good character

I'm 8 episodes in and I hear ya. Cage was one of the most desired roles and I know a lot of black actors were angling for him. The writing for him is pretty non-good, and the acting isn't any better. Not only is this Cage not really Cage much but even if you wanted to channel your best Emo-Cage for this series, the lines and development isn't there for me, and neither is the wooden acting.

Right now, I'd rather see Patty aka Hellcat headline her own series that Cage.

I thought he was a really stiff performer. The guy has the right look but almost zero charisma.

Did like Patty a lot. Actress was a lot more engaging than her previous performance in NBCs Crisis

Me and the wife tried watching this. Neither of us could stand the lead actress. Was just painful watching her.

Yeah, mostly due to Daredevil I'm still going to watch this. But sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on this planet who thought Krysten Ritter was not all that good on Breaking Bad, despite having a great role.

Everyone worships her though, so I don't know. I haven't seen her in anything else yet.

I really liked Don't Trust The B in APT 23

So I'm 6 episodes in and I don't get it. Kristen Ritter is still a horrible actress and is painful to watch in key scenes(what an ass though), David Tennant is cliche, predictable and boring maybe for the first time in his career, there are countless circumstances where I'm finding it hard to suspend my disbelief and the story itself isn't all that gripping.

Daredevil, even with the awful blondie and redhead side stories, is significantly better. The performance of the actor who plays daredevil and especially Vincent D'ONofrio are reasons alone that show is heads and shoulders above this one. But there so many gripping scenes in Daredevil and the action scenes are second to none, Jessica Jones usually leaves me rolling my eyes.
