I just received this email, thought you Texans and Oklahomans might be interested.

The Ardmore Demonstration against the Texas Democrat invasion is on for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in front of the Holiday Inn, 2705 Holiday Drive in Ardmore (Exit 31A off of I-35). Feel free to bring poster board signs etc. and get ready to make a difference.

Some Suggested Signs Are:

Extradite!

Longhorn Democrats Go Home

We Already Have Cowardly Politicians

Fugitive Democrat Recovery Task Force

Take Brad Henry Back With You

Oklahoma 63 - Texas 14

For those interested in going, Ardmore is about 90 minutes north of Dallas. It's basically 30 miles from the Texas border on I-35.
I'm going to try and come down after my show's over... so if anybody might be attending, send me a PM and I'll see if we can hook up for lunch or something.

Dammit. If I didn't have to be at work at 3pm I would be there. I've never been part of a protest before...

(Oh, and that last sign idea sucks...) :)

I think that those 50 should have just voted against the bill insteadof walking out but I dont know all the facts so I'll reserve
judgement till later .

If I was going I would use the Oklahoma 63 Texas 14 sign.

From what I understand, they still would have lost. So they walked out so the vote wouldnt take place.

President Bush thought it was funny, but then again he appeals as one of those persons who thinks everything is funny.

It'd be funny if all the democrats left the night before and the protesters didn't get word of it and at the end of their protest, someone finally clues them in...just a funny thought I had.

no way in hell I'm driving an hour and a half in a chicken suit.

But have I told you I'm going to dress up as a cow and protest the PETA convention in OKC next month? :)
