Thanks, wustin. Yes, I'm going to keep working hard on this, and anticipate a patch within days. This issue is likely the most important one next to the 2 or 3 crashes that some people have experienced (again, please, if you have a crash, visit solecismic.com and send us a full report). At first, I thought it was just confusion over games started versus games played, because starts in football can be misleading since they reflect your personnel on the first play of the game. But I think there's something there, and it should be relatively easy to fix.
"This issue" references the depth chart stuff with CB/S/WR. Full context is in this thread: How to change the starters? :: Front Office Football Eight General Discussions (http://steamcommunity.com/app/547900/discussions/0/154641879451418578/)

That's a lot sooner than I would have anticipated. Looking forward to stud cornerbacks not ending their careers with less than 30 interceptions anymore.

Its been awhile since I have been actively monitoring these forums but doesn't seem like any developer feedback/comments have been posted to this forum since release, but some have been posted on Steam's forums. This being the most active and long-term forum discussing (and supporting) the game, I kind of thought it would be the opposite. I understand the developer does not like to actively participate in any forum, just hoping he is reviewing all the posts here (not just bugs) for consideration.
At the end of the day I am sure he is either being fed the information or reviewing himself, just would be nice to have some dialog at times.
Either way, back to enjoying the game:)

Definitely a Depth Chart is more than necessary and a proper handle of players by the AI

Between now and the first patch, the bug thread is an ok place to post non-crashes. Anything not in there, assume it will not get looked at. After the first patch, every single bug, issue, or feature request should go to Solecismc Support. See this post for more info:

Steam is where the game is housed now in its entirety so the QA and PR aspects can all be tied to the store and community discussions. It's smart for him to utilize Steam first and foremost even if it rankles a bit.

Ben, not sure why my statement/question would cause things not to be addressed, unless my comment was misinterpreted, certainly was not intended. It was more of a question as to where the developer communicates (or at least monitors) with the community nowadays (not just about bugs, but in general), just was thinking this particular community is the most active and well-known place to discuss the game so would have thought more interaction here versus other places. But hadn't seen any developer comments here, just on Steam. Regardless of forums, I have always sent my issues/suggestions directly to their support email so that is not an issue for me.

Yep, which is perfectly fine and understandable as that audience likely will be larger and tied to current/future sales.

Not your statement, but the line of thinking. Re-read what I quoted: the assumption that many people have that he is "reviewing all the posts here for consideration" is the problem. People make that assumption and as a result thy don't report things through the proper channels. They think "I posted it at FOFC, so Jim must have seen it."

Sure that is understandable with issues and such...just was thinking that sometimes public dialog with the developer can help clear up and/or understand design decisions better...might learn something new or see things in a different perspective (thought was a problem but maybe not).
Regardless, not a major issue...
