Hi, my intention is very clear, this version is so deep and reading the forums (Steam and OS), a lot people didn't know how start, and with your help in replies i am trying to make a scheme of points of interest before start a new season.

Point 1: This version is deeper, and in my opinion there are a lot of work done for the AI without the single player can check or organize, we need to start at point building a solid base for IA can make the rest.

Based on point one, we start checking our coaching staff to know how our coaches can play and develop the game.

-Check the offensive coordinator:

Offensive Style
Playbook Limit

-Check the Deffensive Coordinator:

Type of Front Seven

For future staff draft don't forget this graphic

Point 2:Based in this version, there are more free agents and "very-more" interesting, a lot good players, it is sure will be a good player for your scheme, focus in offensive line and defensive line, in my various years done a lot of starters and some stars. Remember limit of 70 player before the Training Camp.

Point 3:Before the training camp you need to GENERATE YOUR PLAYBOOK based in your offensive coordinators, don't try generate 200 plays, if your coach can't handle, if your are lucky and understand the whole game, in this point this year can enjoy a lot. Delete and generate like a Head Coach.

(This point i need to complete when play more, i think this is enough to start)

Begin Training Camp

...will be continued

(sorry for my english, came from Europe)

Is there a negative (or penalty) to generating a playbook book that has more plays then what your coach can use in a game? I didn't think so but could be wrong. I thought you could have a larger pool of plays available to be inserted into any game plan, but for any given game you could not call more than the OC's limit. Just thinking I could have 200 plays to choose from, but might choose different 60+ plays per game depending on what plan I wanted to implement (pass heavy, run heavy, balanced, etc.) without there being a penalty.

I am agree with this. I do prefer to have 200 plays as the season goes on, despite de fact I can only use 60 different plays at this point. I can plug and play formations and plays based in my available personnel.

You have no penalty having these 200 plays in your playbook.

I don't know empirically if you load 200 your will penalyced, but in my 12 hours of game, i have better results with playbook adjusted to OC limit, that in other option, i just saying, but if you play to Erhardt-Perkins system with shortpasses QB, why do you have 20 plays of long pases on playbook? I dont know how mind of Jim works, but this will be logical in stead
