Looking for some forum knowledge please. Can't find anything useful when I search.

I've normally used a laptop for playing FOF, specifically a 2011 Macbook Air running Bootcamp and therefore Windows. When at home I normally plug the laptop into a desktop setup with monitor, keyboard and mouse.

But with FOF 8's new windows support (which is brilliant and a new feature I really value - thanks Jim) I now want to switch FOF onto my desktop PC and run more monitors with more CPU power.

Is there a simple way to combine having FOF on the desktop PC most of the time with the ability to play the odd session on the laptop? I fairly often do long flights and I find FOF on the laptop the perfect antidote. Don't want to lose that. Asking both for SP and MP.

What do you guys do? Thanks in advance

Install it on both. Not a problem with Steam.

You will need to setup both the laptop and desktop with your mp leagues. Once you get setup you can jump back and forth between the two with little to no issue. (You might not have all the box scores and logs though, depending on how your league is setup.)

SP is a little trickier because the career is localized. If you're okay doing different sp careers on the laptop and desktop then there's absolutely nothing special that needs to be done. Just install it. If you want the same career on both you'll have to transfer the files back and forth and that doesn't seem worth the hassle to me.

Is it possible to put the league files on Dropbox or Google Drive and load it from there from both computers?

I have done that to copy the files myself back and forth - but I don't think you can update where the game actually pulls the files from. Easy enough, though, to throw a shortcut to both locations on your desktop and copy and paste as needed.
