Coach keeps resetting roaters

I have the settings turned off so my staff cant reset gameplan or depth charts, however, when i try to set someone to Active on the roster or Inactive the AI keeps changing it when i close out of the roster window. Is there a setting im missing somewhere?

For example, i have 4 runningbacks and i set the one to inactive while activating a healthy WR. When i close out of the roster window the AI will undo my changes.

I think that's controlled under the "Staff automatically signs players to fill roster" option. It's a little confusing that it's not the same as depth chart control.

that sounds like a bug, even when turned on the AI only adjusts roster/depth chart when you play your game for the week

That's strange. Even before the patch I was switching active/inactive all the time with no issues.
