Working on pics but for the daring a couple of updates.
- Elements file: Based upon a request the player card ratings now have more color variation to allow for a quicker determination.
- Grass menu: Tweaked the menu display so it now has more deviation from null choices and available choices. Added a drop shadow to the text which makes it sharper and easier to read.
- Scoreboard: Tweaked to scoreboard itself slightly, changed the right hand display and modded the football.
- Grass Calendar: Added a drop shadow to the current week notice, again to make it pop some.
As always, back up your stuff.
Also, as soon as someone determines what the two different uniform graphics on the element.bmp file are for please let me know. I have uni's for each NFL team and am thinking of doing a file for each but want to get that set up as well, whatever it is for.
Last, for now. I have been screwing with skinning the menu display screen but damn if Jim hasn't made that one complex turd. As soon as I can crack how sections feed and overlay others I have some ideas but have to crack the code first.

You should create a master thread for graphical changes and hopefully it gets stickied

nawlinsfan i figured out what the uniform graphics are, its for the roster screen where it shows the players number the color denotes position, uniforms in left group are offense, uniforms in right group are defense

Really good stuff. Only request I have is making the colors for the ratings on the roster page really differentiate in the 40's to 70's range where most of the players are. It's just hard for me to tell a 50 from a 60.

Nevermind! I hadn't re-started the game since I placed the file in the pictures folder. Now that I did much better. Great job as always.

FYI, in an earlier version of your elements.bmp file, there was an error with the defensive gameplanning section title bars (the whole 212 formation was missing). I have not checked to see if your latest has remedied that, but if not... heads up.

I feel like a total asshole for pointing this out, but there's a typo on the grassmenu - it should be league's fastest man not leagues fastest man etc. Thanks a lot for these.

Any chance of a version with the thin red line for potential? I can understand that some people don't want that, but I live for it! :)
Thanks for all the great work, regardless!

for anyone that wants it i made a Cowboys themed scoreboard file
List of Changes:
1. Found and modified(resized and split) a Dallas Cowboys logo for the playcalling area
2. Added yard markers to the field in position for the drive line to go down the middle of them
3. Replaced the center logo with the Dallas Star (was a true pain getting it to look right with it only being 23 pixels wide....)
4. Removed the red lines for red zone and added red zone markers to both 20 yard lines
5. Separated the yard numbers slightly from the lines for easier legibility
6. Changed the endzones (modified version of lower part of logo from playcalling area)
7. Slight change to the color of the home team drive line to make it more visible against the yard lines
CCFL Logo has been removed from this version - scoreboard.bmp - Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B53k9ffb48FyNXJtWmpuNUxMTmM)

I love purple, as it happens (yep, you created the perfect combo of elements for me when you were working on FOF7 :) )!

Caligari, thin red line link below. Hey, just between you and me, I like the green and thin red line best myself.

The standings are red for division leaders and then dark blue for playoff teams and light blue for non playoff teams? I can barely tell the difference between the blues.
The elements file shows a gold like it was in 7?
