Again not finding much in the help file, so info appreciated.....I see guys who are appealing but with a zero endurance (or similarly very low) and I'm thinking how useful can they be as they won't be on the field long and avoid big time. Valid?

Due to past experience in FOF 7 and below, I've avoided guys with low endurance in FOF8. It used to matter a lot.

Now, the new way of doing depth charts, and the analyze button, makes me wonder if that whole aspect of the game has been reworked. But I've not have the time or inclination to study it.

I've found endurance to be huge. Guys with extremely low endurance have major, major issues staying on the field. You pay a highly rated CB who has low endurance and he may only play 60% of the snaps.

I don't always succeed, but I try to avoid low endurance players whenever possible.

Thx, that pretty much aligns with my logic on this.

Fun game. Glad I rediscovered this. :)

By the way, joey... if you're asking questions about the last-generation game FOF7, it would be wise to note as much in your questions. Otherwise, we're likely to assume you're a paying customer of the most recent game, FOF8, and answer on that basis.

Troy,

I've been meaning to test this more explicity. What happens if you put that CB in all formations instead of relying on REX? Does he still only play 60% of the time? My recollection with DLine is the still play every play. The question is what is the impact to performance and chance of injury.

I didn't see this other area for older versions until today. d'oh. Thx to whoever moved my threads.

Anyway I'm trying an experiment with guys weak in this area as I am not getting the impression endurance really matters THAT much...I've seen too many guys with lower endurance who weren't hurt much and vice-versa.

Confirming what I suspected. I don't usually go for guys with super-low endurance (say low 20s on down), but have had very good luck with guys even in the 25-35 range, not noticing a lot of diff between them and guys up to 50ish or more, and even have had a few in the teens or less hold up pretty well (granted usually backups).
