"Always" was very misleading I guess.

Heh. "Always" has never meant "always" on 4th down either.

I am AFK for the next few hours. Someone check the injured playing time stuff. Easiest way is to just sim a few seasons and see how many quarterbacks play 16 games with injuries at 100.

Dola: if the result ends up being more than around 8 to 12, I would say that got a tweak too.

Well since no one would do it for me, I did it myself. :p

Short answer: The injured playing time setting got a significant tweak in 8.0c in the right direction.

Longer answer: The easiest/fastest way to measure this, as I mentioned above, is just to take a look at how many QBs started 16 games. I had a 100-year career from 8.0b, so I just ran it 10 more years with 8.0c. Here are the numbers of QBs who started 16 in 8.0b vs. 8.0c with the injury setting at 100.

Oh. Heh. This is on the Solecismic site now:

The 8.0c patch contained a fix for multi-player leagues running the first exhibition week. It also reduced the effect of an 8.0b change that made the setting that controlled the AI's willingness to play injured players far too sensitive.
