Roster Strength Finally Flipped In A Recent Patch?

In the past, it always seemed to be that the better your roster, the worse your "Roster Strength" score. I just did a rollover with a great roster, and this happened:

Oh..and for comparison, I took over the team in 2030. The roster score was never higher than 25 from 2030-2038. The 95 score above was in 2039.

That's good, it always bothered me just a little when I had a few units rated in the top 3 and every other unit in the top half and I get a 20 for the roster strength score.

Awesome. I always wondered about the roster strength score also.

I'm wondering about this presently:

I am 8 and 1 (the best record of all teams. In the first year of the league). I can't see why my team (Detroit) should have the worst roster value...

(Edit: All I can figure is that my team is young? Maybe the game greatly favors senior players for this score.)
