I played FOF2007 a fair bit, and was in a MP league for a while, but I didn't play FOF7 and am just trying to refamiliarise myself with FOF having purchased 8 on Steam.

I get that the game is slightly different to the previous versions, but there doesn't seem to be anything for me to actually do... Before I'd set up a gameplan but when I start a new game, "Simulation Window" is virtually the only button I can click on. Is there any sort of tutorial on how to approach this version as I'm pretty clueless...!

Also I'm having a few technical difficulties. Firstly the game windows are slightly too big for my monitor (using a PC, not a laptop) so I have move my taskbar in order to see the buttons at the bottom. Secondly, for my first exhibition game I decided to go into the game rather than just simming it. Soon regretted it as there was no way of exiting. Even when the game had finished I couldn't close the window, so had to shut down the entire programme and now when I try and load the file again it says the game file is corrupted.

Any tips/ideas/help? To say that it hasn't been a good start is an understatement!

Hi to any RDFLers out there btw, it's been a few years since I played FOF!

Also... is there a pack of the team artwork anywhere? In previous versions I copied & pasted all the images myself (i.e. for the franchise image when the player profile window opens) but if something already exists that would save a ton of time. Thanks!

Hi to you Sir.
Would be great if you come back home to the RDFL. ;)

Thanks Templar, good to see you're still there!

I've struggled getting into this new one unfortunately - regarding my initial post, I have now worked out how to access different screens (was being an idiot) but the interface issues remain and haven't really got into the game planning side yet.
