Well as you may know, my last dyanasty went kapoot so I'm starting over. The difference is in this dynasty, I will not be spending much time on the first few years. No long game write-ups. Just results, the standings and recruiting.

After a few seasons goes by and I'm not getting blown out every game, and my recruits start playing, that I'll start doing game write ups again.

Copy of house rules from old dynasty.

I will be starting with Richard Stockton College. The storyline goes is that Richard Stockton College (my college) has decided to build a Div-I football team. Following Temple being kicked out of the Big East, Richard Stockton takes its place, instantly starting a NJ vs. NJ school rivalry with Rutgers.

House Rules (pretty much the same as cthomer has for his Rutgers dynasty):

1) Must keep scholarships at a total of 60. If I go over 60, I cut until I get down to 60.

2) I have to automatically offer a scholarship to anyone coming out of:

Gateway Regional (NJ) High School in Woodbury Heights (my school)
West Deptford High School in West Deptford (close high school to mine)

3) Can not call more than twice and can not visit more than twice.

4) No Bribing for any reason

5) Since the president of the school is conserned about the image of the achool now that it has a Div-I football team, all recruits must have a GPA of 2.75 (or higher) AND an SAT score of at least 1000.

6) Until we have a winning season, I can only recruit from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Deleware.

7) I can try to recruit 1 red player a week and 1 black player every 2 weeks. Just like cthomer, these will be blue-chips and dreams.

8) Game Plan: I must pick a system and stick with it under each coordinator. For instance, if I have been using an IForm with OC Pete Jackson and suddenly find myself with killer WRs and a great QB, I can not just switch to single-back or run-and-shoot. (Note, I don't know if doing that would actually benefit my team. just throwing it out there.

9) Append to that: If I change my offensive formation, I MUST hire an OC with at least 1 season experience using that system. Otherwise, the OC comes in and runs the system I am using (if he has no prior experience).

10) If an OC DOES have experience with a system, I can not hire him unless I plan to change to that system. For example, OC Fred Freddy has 5 years exp using singleback. If I am running a wishbone, and have no interest to switch to singleback, I can't hire him.

11) I can not set Run Pct to under 35 in the game plan except for 3rd down and med (or longer), and 2nd and long (or longer).

12) I can not set Run Pct to over 70 unless in 1st and med (or shorter), or short downs.

Exception to 11 and 12: If the computer AI sets it to it, than I can use it.

(These two keep me from taking advantage of weak AI, though I usually will just use what the coach reccomends.)

That's all for now...I may take away or add to it as the game goes along.

For the first few seasons or so, I'm just going to play the season and then report at the end of the season. I think the fact that I went a couple of years losing and recruiting in my previous dynasty has me not wanting to spoend so much time doing that over. It's one thing to choose to start over, but this was not by choice. :)
