This is a sad day in Rockets history. I think he's taking the fall for Cuttino's ball-hogging and the team's youth.

Apparently Jeff Van Gundy is the leading candidate to take over... (UGH!!!!!!!)

Man, no, this isn't cool! Rudy T is one of the best coaches in the league. Then again, his health is a concern and it might be better for both him and the team if he retires and gets his health in order. I hope my Rockets use some good sense replacing him.

Also, I seem to remember Franchise getting all uppity, saying he would leave if RudyT was fired. Good player, but I thought these little attitude tantrums were behind him.

rudy t has done an awful job the last couple years. i hope he gets his health in order, but this is a good thing forthe rockets

I'm sure he turned into a bad coach overnight :rolleyes:

Houston doesn't have the players to run with the big boys. Steve Francis is a good player, but he's not a superstar...
