I would like to do a "system" team in FOF 8... I'd like to build a team around concepts that I don't typically use. A team very heavy in 4-WR and 5-WR sets seems interesting to me. (A running QB might be a fun part of this, but not necessary)

Does anyone have a playbook of this type that I could work from?

Tried a season using a "guided gameplan" with this setup:

Ended up with my slot receivers getting more targets than my (superior) flanker WR1. Need to work on that. Overall, outcomes were pretty weak with promising rookie QB and good class of WR.

Any sense of whether familiars were a problem with heavy use of 4WR and 5WR? Anecdotally, that's been my experience, but I'm open to the idea that it can be overcome.

Yes, seemed high with familiars. As usual, I've basically just lost interest in fucking around any more with all this stuff. Meh.

I had a team that was basically built for this, but was getting consistently 7-9 seasons. It seems programmed to me to not be able to use 4/5 WR sets too often within the game with a lot of success. When I switched to using more 122 and 212 to offset the predominant 113, (even with a team with 4 very good WRs and not a good TE), I had a lot more success.

I would be curious if anyone has had success with it. My QB had a very low sense rush, and I wonder if a higher sense rush might be able to make use of 4 WR sets.

Pretty much mirrors my outcomes. Definite feel that the game just does not want you to do things it finds unsavory, and the 1990s era Oilers/Falcons run-n-shoot (104 most plays, no meaningful FB or TE on the roster) is just off the table.
