Anyone else seeing ads within the threads? Every time I sign in today I see ads within threads. Only used to see them like that if I wasn't logged in.

The ads between posts are now removed if you are logged in as a registered user.

Right now I'm seeing an ad above the post reply button at the top, an ad under the post reply at the bottom, and an ad under the timestamp in the footer. All of these are new to me.

I can only assume that my AdBlockPlus / UBlock Origin combo are protecting me.

Just started getting hit with them. On top, on bottom, and corner ads. What the hell is this shit, OS?

No ads for me. I use uBlock Origin and the classic FOFC yellow. :)

I switched from Yellow and that took the ads out (they were everywhere), but now I am sad as I really liked the Yellow.

Gigantic ads at times and then there's that blue "Privacy Settings" thingy that keeps popping up in the right hand corner. The content on that settings thingy has a nifty white text on a white background layout.
I know, I know, free website and all...

Default, Yellow, and FOWL all show ads. The rest don't.

I don't care that these ads have started and I seemingly have no way to block them on my phone.
What I do care about is that they take so much longer to load than the rest of the page that every fucking time I try and click a link, I end up clicking the wrong thing because the ad moves the placement of the link at the last second.

I'm experiencing the same thing as Logan describes, while the ads are now also making the typing text a pain, because the loading of replacement ads while on the same page stalls the process of making the typed text show up on screen.

The good news of this all: I switched back to "Sideline Green".

What a flipping annoying advertisement. Are you kidding me?

Yeah the Shark week ad makes the site unusable basically. Fun times.

Phew, I'm glad someone else acknowledges it. I'm surprised it took so long though haha. There is actually a second ad that is just annoying and obtrusive. I'm surprised no one has told me that I need to install an adblocker or browser extension yet, though neither should be necessary in 2021.

I don't think I've ever seen an internet ad that literally made it impossible to view a website with no way to cancel out of it.
I really don't mind banners, pop-ups, little video boxes in the corner, whatever, but geez.

I don't see this ad (and hardly any others.) I'm using yellow, Firefox, and uBlock origin, and AdBlock Ultimate.

I don’t see any ads at all (literally zero) on Safari using the Child of vBulletin 3 skin, no ad blockers or anything else.

Skin change is great advice, thanks AlexB.
