OK, here's my problem.

My computer is seriously screwed, thanks to a failed upgrade/installation of Systemworks 2003 Pro. I uninstalled my old anti-virus software and the installation of the new one didn't work, and, in the words of the HP tech, my OS was "compromised." So, I have all sorts of strange things happening, including not being able to print emails from Outlook Express.

So here's the question - when I bought this computer and moved from my old one, whatever I thought I did to export the emails I needed to save, did not work. Can anyone tell me how I can save a set of emails, so that I can pull them back up once I get my system restored? The export function seems to be for exporting to different programs, not for saving these emails to read in Outlook Express again.

Any ideas?

Is this thread (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=135499) something like what you're looking for?

Heh. Never seen that forum before but Google found it. Looks pretty neat.

Thanks. My computer is so screwed that the export function doesn't even work.

What I've done is set up a second email account and sent all of my email to the Netscape email program so that I can print them out. I can print from Netscape, but not IE or Outlook. This computer is seriously f*cked.

Anway, it's going to be a tremendous pain in the ass, but it looks like I'll be printing a bunch of emails before I can do the system restore. Thanks for the help though.
