I seriously thought he died like 20 years ago. He looked 80 when he was in Cream ffs.

If you never watched the documentary on him, BEWARE OF MR. BAKER, you should. It's pretty great.

4.6 Ginger Baker, Drummer, 1960s & Earlier

I feel like this is a home run. Why? He's a superior drummer to Neil Peart and Ringo Starr, both selected before him. His only competition for "greatest drummer ever" are Bonham and Moon. Baker is widely credited with creating the drum solo. He can play anything from rock to jazz to African style. Ginger Baker is the master.
